unable to use xfire ingame

i dont know why.
i re installed both, xfire and crossfire, but non of that helped
i also changed the shortcut bindings.

can someone help me? i tried to find a solution in the xfire forums but couldnt find something.

Are you using vista? because i run vista and it does that to me. Maybe xfire doesnt work well with vista?

Xfire ingame is disabled on windows vista due to poor performance and crashing.

no xfire doesnt work at all for vista
however
some people have got it to work

Lol i had a problem like this, have you run it as administrator? Cos it works and also try PTT (push to talk) hope this helps.

but i tried in on xp home, but its still not working

Tbh i'm not 100% sure, i downloaded the new version and it wouldn't let me speak during a game, i tried it by setting it to "run as administrator" and it worked fine no problems, it doesn't affect my ping or my FPS either.
