How Important is K/D?

If you dont get a good kill death ratio from the begining it is very hard to make up the difference

I started playing Crosfire 17/3/2009 and I sucked I got owned by everyone

Also back then the game was full of hackers (No excuse) just fact, I died alot

I slowly worked my way up the ranks to where I am now but my K/D has never recovered

Any tips or help as to how I can help it or is it a case of kill more die less SIMPLES LOL

KD is not important at all.
some clans take that as criteria for sucessfull joining.
if u play well, u can join anyway.
last exit reset.

and btw, mine reached 1.0 at about 20.000 kills, since then not interested anymore. *sigh*

my k/d is 1.7 but it doesn't matter
dying or losing doesn't matter
