thank U for making this thread, the community has been a bad one since everyone indirectly trolls others and/or feed the trolls and they wont stop complaining about the hacks, every thread i see, i tell them to give credit to the GMs and MODs, everyone just rages and rants on everything these days -.- -

We can make the forumer happier by not allow others to talking about it. They are happier to post some more garbage threads. It is not hard to find examples.
The problem, we are trying to avoid talking about a problem when it happens, will this community be mature, or happy?
Is it better to have a community that do nothing but be patient when hackers found, or to have a community react strongly.
In fact, I am glad to see the community still get rage on hackers. And the rage is the driving force to fight hackers. Such a community can make the game last longer.
I remember you posted that you only see limited number of hackers to response me, so I would think you never seen how you start a vote and get failed like 3:16. It is tragedy that even the victim team learn to be tolerant. I remember I was almost in the same game with you one night, and I really want to lead you to some hacker happy room, but that day is the lucky day, they have the patch 1 day before, and you left the game before I talk to you.
About the posting, I am not trying to embarrass you. Yesterday I have not read your post and not really understand what the op want to address. But I teased you because I know your opinion from your previous post. Today when I read this one, I can't help laughing.
But no offense, I know what you did to have the community better, even we have different opinion on the problem. -
This community isn't mature OR happy. Every time they release new maps, weapons, items what do you see? Threads about how much the items suck. Every time a new public hack comes out what do you see? 30 threads a day. I'm not saying they shouldn't make the threads. I'm saying they shouldn't act the way they act. How do the threads help? I've only seen a few threads that were made by people who were calm and didn't complain that much. The rest are...can't explain.
Also, I'm not saying the hacking situation is OK. It's not good...but its nothing compared to GameGuard...and people aren't glad about that. Which again proves my point...you can't please this community. Most of the players are immature and ignorant. The rage here doesn't do anything but make others rage.
Also, why did you laugh? Because I want to try and change peoples minds? For trying to help? Seriously dude? -

First I want to laugh because what I teased you yesterday turned out to be true. I told you the op's post might be against you, remember, and today, I know it is against you. Not because other things. I should not laugh in the situation, but I think you are mature and would not rage.
Think about this, a forum on the one hand, it a place people to have their happy hours, seeking for help, on the other hand, is a place for people to shout out their complains.
If everyone is equivalently important, why someone can post their happiness, while others can not post their upset?

I agree on you slogan on stop (complain) and start (doing it correctly), but your post has not defined anything to start with. So without this part, the other slogan will never be helpful.

Hopefully, you can enter a game someday with 3 hacker/glitcher. And you can learn the embarrass you pray to have someone start a vote, but find the vote failed totally. At that moment, I can predict you will change room patiently. But after every room you enter has hackers, you will leave some f word. -

Complain is not from one person. Everyone believes he complain once, there are still a lot, because there are lots of things that can be complained.
If the vote system really works as we expected, you will see much less complain.
And it is not the flaw of vote system to cause the vote system to fail, it is the way the community react to the vote. Those who complains normally vote kick when they think suspect hacks, I guess there are a lots of "decent" forummer will keep on watching. But because of the community was led in the way to finish daily mission, you can not expect too many will start a vote. And lots of others would not care, they would like to be farmed by hackers than to press a button. If they have bad words, just ban them from forum, it is forum's responsibility.
But we can not say that because we saw that hack complain again and again, we should forbid them to do so. You must realize rage is 1 important part of the human emotion.
As a forumer with lots of influence as lolsmileyface, he can start a thread of complain and ask others to follow. But I can predict it would not work. People come to forum with rage normally just want to release it. They would not bother searching for a thread to follow. And because we have too many other meaningless thread to bury each other quickly, it will be harder for them to find it, unless the thread is sticky. But this can not be done by you, and a MoD would not do that either.
And I know for lots of times, complains come with opinions. And I know most of times, once the hacking problem is concerned, some of you will reject it without browsing it. So when you ask others to be patient, you have to be patient to read the thread. If you want to stop impatience with impatience, there will be flame.

While Z8 can provide both of them, they can make rule, and they can make ribbon to create motivation. If they have done so, hacker kicking will not bother a lot.
So it seems the suggestion to the community is rather useless. Without the enforcement, they will fail. -

And about the suggestions, even someone really want to express their opinion, there are some comments "nothing new", "another thread", "use search button". You can check the suggestion area now. There is some example now.
Remember, each forumer has different experience in the forum, when you ask other to be patient, could you be patient to think how could a new forumer start to post something -- he must be a real fan to go over those register process. And you might play some game that you never leave any message on forum, how easy you can quit that game?

Because we can not see each other's suggestion, there should be lots of overlapped message. On the other hand, each MoD need to read and answer the same message if they were send separately. This is much lower in efficiency, and MoD should feel more painful than close a thread, because when turned into a private message, they might have to answer it.
And let's talk about another case, someone get mad and pm MoD with insult, in public we showed our support for the MoD, that makes people know they are the minority. But once pm is used, MoD has to handle it by themselves. And it will be a very upset feeling even MoDs are more mature.
Because there is no definition about what is useful or not, we need to be patient to allow them to post. What you can do to make it a better community, is to help them to know which is good and which is bad. So start doing it. -
The solution would be time traveling
A mature community won't ever happen again imo.
Z8 has the power to lead the community to some direction...... with their ribbon system..... see how many spam post we have when they said there will be a military intelligence ribbon?
So even the community will never be mature, they can still do the right thing if correctly directed. -

We have a Ribbon for NOT getting banned, but that doens't control most of players. Well, I'm not sure obviously but I think that maybe 25%+ of the players have been banned, at least once! Well, Millitary Intelligence is gone and most of them just shutted their mouth up, and if many of them don't know how to read English i dont effing understand how da hell did they got here, tho, community got better since they removed it.

I know what you're trying to do... this is like the old days... We are like the African Americans, and the Brazilians (mostly them), are like the Whites... You're saying we should not try to drive hate away with hate... right? Just like Martin Luther King Jr... right? However, I think communication is pretty uneffective in CF. First of all, not everybody speaks english, and second, people tend to never talk, not reading the dialogues... That message of piece and equality amongst us and the others (who's mostly Brazilians), would have trouble being sent around, simply because not everybody understands english very well. Ironically, us from North America are the minorities, people, who's mostly from Brazil, are the majority. I mean, considering that, they can't really notice our actions of "being nicer".

So much about mature community in game...(Im 21 but i cannot be mature if somebody is trying to kick me then im gona "#$%&/%#":mad: to him)
