Login Issues, STILL

Seriously, someone should fix this.

Here's my story.

Visit forum.z8games, enter ID/PW, see Welcome Acct1, can't make threads or post.
Login in and out, no change.
Log out, log in on diff acct, I can post. Make 2 posts, suddenly I can't post.
Repeatedly log in and out trying Acct1, Acct2, and Acct3, no luck, can't post. I see the 'welcome' every time, though, with my account name.
Make a new e-mail, but get continued 'reg failed'
Suddenly, Acct2, I can post when I log in.
Come back next day, same thing, over and over.
Clearing cookies seems to help HALF the time.
NOT having a way to clear the forum cookie from the forum means I have to clear ALL my cookies - pain in ass - or manually find THIS cookie and delete it. And it still only helps half the time.
Oh, there's 50 more lines, all redundant, I'll leave out.
I've tried on computers with Vista, XP SP2, and XP SP3, with a mix of browsers IE7, IE8, FF 3.5.2 and Opera 9.64 and nothing seems to work here with any consistency.

There are already numerous threads and posts from others. Certainly there would be more, except not being able to make posts... well, you get it or you don't.

Maybe you could set up a temporary e-mail for non-game related support issues.
Flash games.... work.... facebook.... work.... hmmm....

Z8's iframe based login system is pathetic and I would expect to see it in 1997, not 2009.

Unfortunately their web guy(s) seem to have no interest in making a better one though =(

can`t log in and when i go on the home page I sometimes could do it but today it was impossible to login . it accepted the name and password bot did not let me in to write as if i was not login so I was trying to log out but failed cause it was`t let me loging out . OMG WHAT A HELL. I was writing a thread about the new forum saying that it was a nice one but now I may want to make another one in the opposit direction.
I followed the path of the deleting COOKIES and had to go thtow another browser to access the forum.
The fun in that issue is that if you can`t log in you can`t contact any one to talk about your problem but god only , and God has nothing to *** with the game , he has other things to do.
may be the technitians have better things to do than God himself so they Give a *** to the real problem of that BIG issue , THE ONE TO MAKE THAT SITE RUNNING LIKE A NORMAL SITE IN 2009 .

You're only showing how you don't understand the way this stupid login system works. Whether you are here on the forums, at the main site, on crossfire's site, wherever on z8games, the login thing at the top is ALWAYS this location: http://www.z8games.com/loging/globelogin.aspx

It is the poorest integration imaginable to try and iframe logins and pass it around with POSTS and GETs. It just reeks of the web in the 90s before any kind of scripting either server or cilent side was well established. It should be server side. It would have the benefit of WORKING, all the time, as well as requiring fewer resources from less page loads (you login, the login frame loads a new page, which then refreshes itself and then re-loads the parent page), but I guess this is too complicated for whatever baboon they have working on their web side of things

Not that im going to defend or bash the system, because i can't really see the code, but the worse problems i've had were the odd logout.

Are these people who are having problems users with new accounts migrated from the old db, or are these accounts all new? or a combo of both o.O

I have the same problem aswell. I think it might be for the accounts from the old db.
Btw this only happens on firefox and not internet explorer.

I haven't been able to log in or post ever since the forum switch over, and your advice actually helped so cheers.

im getting logged of all the time

cant you just make the login stuff on the forums separate from the other things (clan , deposit)

Nothing as fun as getting logged out, not being able to log in decently again for 15 minutes and to be logged out again after opening 2 threads.
