How to avoid hackers in Public games

Create smaller rooms, the larger the room the more likely it is you'll run into a hacker. The smaller the room, the less likely you are to find a hacker. And in the event that there is a hacker, the easier it is to kick them.

I'd personally suggest 4v4 or 5v5 games.

Also, try to play in the less populated servers. Most hackers seem to prefer the heavily used ones such as alpha, or bravo.
