Does your weapon get damaged when someone picks it up?

It breaks theirs
Yea, and it makes you look like a noob following someone around hoping they get killed so you can take their gun.
The best is when a noob runs out in the line of fire right after someone was killed without looking or shooting back, drops their gun and stares at the ground looking to pick up a gun. They usually get shot in the face shortly after. -
Hi,
I was wondering if your weapon receives repair damage, when someone picks it up and uses it when you drop it.
Thanks,

There's NO such thing as repair damage from shooting
Who's the teenager who made up such a rediculous rumor?
Repair damage is based ONLY, and PURELY, on gametime elapsed in a round where your team gets at least 1 kill. So in S&D (which gives the most GP and has the highest repair cost over time), if your team gets no kills, your weapon will not degrade at all for that round.
It's not based on the # of kills you get.
Experience is based on the # of kills, and also a curve based on the # of players in the room.
Don't believe me?
Test it in a 1v1 vs a target dummy.
Make a S&D room, and go 5 rounds where you don't get a kill.
Your repair cost will be ZERO, even if you don't shoot your gun or if you empty the mag.
And if you get a kill, the repair cost for that round will be determined by how long the round lasted.
The repair cost is also 85-90% of the amount of total GP earned during that game. So the more GP you earn, the more the repair cost.
Special game modes are exempt from guns breaking, but most give 80% lower GP since 2009).
Hero mode MM is so popular, because you get the S&D rate of GP earning, without repair costs. It's basically the same as the old pre-nerf CF (early 2009), when you could equip a knife and still get full GP rate, with no repair cost, or a 100% broken gun, and discard it and use somethinig else during the game, and get full GP rate (this was why Crossroads was so popular for farming back then before it got nerfed. You remove your weapon first, join the game, and get about 400 GP for a 13 round game and 0 repair costs).
