Iron Man Ribbon: My Thoughts
Doesn't seem too bad, right? 50 hours in-game (excluding time spent in lobby)? However, think of this: five full 12-minute matches equals 1 hour of gameplay. Multiply that by 50 and you've got 250 full 12-minute matches. That's around 8 full 12-minute matches each day. Obviously, not every match you'll join will be 12 minutes long, and you'll probably only play for the full length of a match about 50% of the time (assuming you're pubbing). Therefore, here's my idea: play scrims/clan wars with your clan every day with as many people as possible. A good clan war can take up to 1.5 hours, if the teams are matched fairly evenly. Doesn't seem so bad now, does it? Of course, if you ever need to farm time, just round up a few friends and make a room. Move a step or two every few minutes and you're golden.
TL;DR: Play scrims/clan matches with a good amount of people against evenly-matched teams every day, and you'll have the Iron Man ribbon in no time.

I just wish there was an easy and accurate way to keep track of the time you've played...
One word for you : stopwatch.
Start it when you enter a room, stop it when you finish it. Use a paper to write the time you've got and there you got your easy and accurate way of keeping track of your time. I always do that for events, never failed one.
You could also use the Statistics screen in your profile but it only keeps track of the last 7 days.
Z8 should work on an ingame way of keeping tracks of the events though, just like the one used for the daily mission. That would be awesome. -
The good thing here , im gonna have a week with no school/works . So gonna play alotImUndefined wrote: »Doesn't seem too bad, right? 50 hours in-game (excluding time spent in lobby)? What about on clan pages look at my profile and then select statistics and then you can see how much time played between 1 and the last 7 days. Look once every week or few days etc write down the amount played and then you can calculate how many more hours remaining without using a stopwatch.

True, but I think it updates daily along with the Clan pages, so you wouldn't find out how much you've played today until tomorrow. You'd have to add another hour or two to your total for your real total, I guess. -
well i have the idea that it might workImUndefined wrote: »True, but I think it updates daily along with the Clan pages, so you wouldn't find out how much you've played today until tomorrow. You'd have to add another hour or two to your total for your real total, I guess.

50 hours is supposed to be hard to do.. hence the name Iron Man... It will bring out the real dedicated players.

Any other Mode is hard to play these days bc of all these "Pros"

50 hours seems pretty intense. I'm sad to say I don't think I'll be able to pull off this Iron Man ribbon. This may show the very dedicated of the community and all i can say is good luck to you, and don't overdose on energy drinks. Although my choice of beverage if i was to try and do this would be Nos

By this token, virtually every achievement for every video game that has ever been created also falls under your assumptions. I find it hilarious that you have probably worked towards those achievements in this game, or other games and can make a statement like that.
If you do not like the ribbon then don't participate. It's as simple as that. -

Yeah? Add in the times you play w/ the hackers, that is like......50+ more hours. Remember, getting dc'ed or rage quitting a match makes that match you played unqualified. So if you spend 30 min playing a 13 round SND map and dc'ed right before the match ends. IT DOES NOT QUALIFY. O_O -

Quitting the match still counts towards your time. We've mentioned that before.
Dc'ing though, especially because of the use of a hack program (which is currently the most likely cause of a disconnect based on the data we have) probably will get in the way of your hours.
I understand that you are raging in every thread you can about the hacking situation, but please make sure to get the information correct first. -

Yes I'm mad. And as fans, we do not know all the answers. Nor are we required to know all the answers. Sometimes, the only answers that we can get are from you guys, and not all the time it comes out truthfully. Thus, that's why we are mad. I truly apologize, but at this moment, too many hackers.
Also, you can disconnect while going back to your desktop and coming back into game. Doing that multiple times can cause the game to disconnect. Believe me, it happens to me all the time. -

Alt-Tabbing from in-game is not on the best recommended list of things to do. We know that, its mostly due to the old-style engine of the game. But that's not the biggest cause of disconnects since not a lot of people do that, since more people are prone to actually playing when they are in game.
As for being mad, we understand that. And not all information can be transmitted every moment of every day. But if you search around you'll see that we've tried to post when we can about the situation and transmit information when we can about the situation and what we're doing to improve it. Hacking in the game is not something we want.
