[GUIDE] Strong FPS Boost

I see lots of people advising GameBooster for better FPS.
I never really felt the effect of it on my computer, and since it became a partially-free program I stopped using it at all.

I came across this program though:

It's much stronger than GameBooster and has more functions.
It gets me from 80 to about 130, while GameBooster barely gave me an extra 10 FPS.

Check it out for yourself. If it doesn't help, no harm done.

The program is using a more aggressive approach when is tweaking the OS settings compared to GameBooster.

It started up, then crashed, then there was no way to do anything with it. I clicked the start tab, and looked it up/ started it, and all it does now is say BALTAGY BLOG SPOT.COM
Please clarify, or this is fake.

I had the same text appear on my screen when i downloaded it but then i just waited and it came up.
also i would reccommend that you definately not surf the web while this is in game mode...

Ok, I should have mentioned I take no responsibility for what this program does.

I use it, it works fine. If it crashes, you might wanna turn off the 4th checkbox.

As for the virus scan yoPook did, I can only say it's either a false positive or the way Pervx & Symantec read the code of the program.

I scanned the file you sent, 2/43 virus on the scan

I've searched the same program on google and downloaded in a trusted site and got 0/43 virus

I'm sorry but have a backdoor on the scan.

I'll test the one I've got picked on google.

I used it, it is completely safe, but for w/e reason it makes me lag more than boost my fps... idk what's up w/ that lol.

btw. How do you guys do your online virus scans? 'Cause as you see, the scan I did found nothing.

As for how much it'll increase your fps, that depends on how much you've tried to increase it before. I go crazy over trying to get this crap laptop to run cf better so I've tried quite a few things. Problem is, many of these performance enhancers tweak things I've already tweaked to increase my pc's ability to do stuff. The good thing is that this accelerator actually did help by about 10 fps, which is saying a lot considering I gave it such a small amount of things left to improve upon. I usually run 18-23 fps in an 8v8 so i need every frame i can get @__@ So yea, it's worth a try. Chances are fairly high that it'll increase your fps more than it did mine.

Latest version. It seems there's a problem with the links on the website. The program is clean. No keylogger or anything like that.

As for what the program does. As I said before, it uses a more aggressive approach than GameBooster, that means it doesn't only stops the useless processes, but it also tweaks the priority of other processes when you run the game. So if you listen to music and play it's not a good an idea to check the last two boxes because you'll have problem if the game is using at maximum the CPU.

Pretty good (better than gamebooster, for sure). Didn't give me more 30/60fps or something like that but now I get, in 8vs8, 25-40fps (usualy got like 15-25fps lol). But I only tried on a SM, didn't try on S&D with smokes and etc. Nice thread mate.

The fastest and easiest way top increase fps is to turn of your anit-liasoning(think that's how it's spelled). Anyways basically what that does is make it so CF isn't trying to sync up with the frame rate of your desktop which is way lower than what CF allows.

Also quit out of any non essencial programs that start up with your computer. One more thing is to set your graphics on low which sucks i know but if you want as much fps as possible it will be neccessary. Something that also might help but at your own risk is to turn "gamer mode" on in your anti-virus.

I had a crap laptop before i got my new laptop so i know these things help.
