Silver vS Gold AK

Stats are the same in ALL AK 47 rifles, the difference lies in the clips.
AK 47 - 3x 30 bullet clips
AK 47 camo - 3x 35 bullet clips
AK 47 Scope - 3x 30 bullet clips, with a scope option
AK 47 Knife - 3x 30 bullet clips, with a knife option
AK 47 Silver - 3x 38 bullet clips, but looks great
AK 47 Gold - 3x 38 bullet clips, but looks cr*ppy -

After using my own AK 47 silver, I have to say that the stats indeed lie. Though it says 30/120, in game it is 38/114. Might be something Z8 still needs to fix, but not a major issue.
So in all aspects, the AK 47 Silver and Gold are the same, but the Silver one looks better. -
How many times do I have to repeat myself to get through those thick sculls around here. ALL the AK 47 have the same stats. There is no stronger of weaker version, for they ALL handle the same way. They ALL do the same amount of damage. They ALL have the same amount of accuracy. They ALL have the same amount of recoil, weight AND automatic fire capabilities. NO AK 47 is different from another AK 47, or else it would no longer be an AK 47, you dolts. The difference lies purely in the amount and size of the clip or in the added extras like a knife or a scope.
As soon as you start changing the stats of the AK 47 itself, it will no longer be an AK 47, but an entirely difference series of AK. Just look at the AK 74. It is the prime example of an altered version of an AK 47.
In short, as long as its called an AK 47, you can expect it to function like an AK 47. Whether its painted gold, silver, camo, or has a knife or a scope attached to it, its just another AK 47 with the same F'ing stats.
Argh! You guys drive me nuts sometimes. -

i have an idea how to get it through there heads, just take the ak47-gold, and spray, recoil headshots ftw? -
The Ak47 Scope it's indeed a little bit weaker so:rolleyes:
You think these guys start from scratch each time they make a new AK 47? HELL NO! They use the pre-programmed code of the original AK 47, change the colour, add in different amount of bullets in a clip, or add a second function to the right mouse button, and presto, a new AK 47 is born.
They wouldn't even bother with changing the stats. Why do you think they screwed up with the ammo/clip amount of the Silver AK 47? Because they used the Golden AK 47 as a base and uploaded the unfinished edit of it to the game. They forgot to press the F'ing save button after they changed the coding that would change 3 clips containing 38 bullets to 4 clips containing 30 bullets.
And before you ask why they didn't use the original AK 47 as base, instead of the Golden AK 47. Its apparently easier to go from gold to silver, than it is from base colours to silver. It has something to do with the lighting that creates the illusion of the gun being made off a shiny metal. To get it to shine just right, take a great deal of work, so why do it twice if you already have 1 shiny gun that you can just alter the colour of?
Seriously, you have no idea how stupid it sounds to hear you guys debate about which AK 47 is stronger, weaker or has more or less recoil. As if you really think that programmers will start from a blank piece of paper each time they create something new. Copypasta FTW, you dolts.
The most work these guys have on making a new weapon, isn't how it will function in the game, but how it will look. Everything else are minor alterations to an existing string of coding. And if you won't take my word for it, then go ask FallenAngel himself if he can be bothered to explain it too ya a second time. -
scope is less powerful watch FSR (final shot review) out of all the ak's from my expierence and the expierence of others the ak camo would be the best out of all lollilroger.
FSR repeats the same thing for 10 minutes. Kinda annoying
Btw Lolli, do you know that for a fact?? I have the scope. It's feel is definitely different. All the other guns are the same, but the scope is weaker, has a slightly different stats. -
rofl, they change the stats slightly every time they make a new gun... the m4a1 adv has more acuary (sorry for bad spelling) ak scope has slightly different recoil from the normal ak and the camo i use all of these guns there ALL different preset codes yea but they do change them you know?

So do I know this for a fact? No, there is that off change that this game is being programmed by trained monkeys, but I consider that very unlikely. So if we are dealing with human game developers here, then yes, this is how they work.
I totally believe you when you say it feels different. Your brain may react differently to a different looking AK 47. A mere different colour configuration can have that effect on the subconscious mind. However, I do not believe there is an actual difference in how these AK 47 rifles work. They are all formed from the same script, unlike the M4A1's. The M4A1's are made different from one and other, but that is why they it shows in their stats. There is a reason why they called them M4A1 advanced and custom, and not M4A1 camo and scope, like the AK 47. It even says so in the gun description that the weapon were altered for a better performance. Something the AK 47's lack.
