Block chat feature?

Is the block chat feature broken, or am I doing something wrong?

I added the people below to the list and I can still see them spewing
spam for cheats and hacks in the lobby chat.

I consider myself within the game after I've signed-in at the loading screen.

Quite frankly I find this kind of spamming very annoying.

Often at times between matches I will retire my character to the lobby and
fetch myself a cup of coffee and when I come back there is nothing
but this useless drivel on my screen and you can not see if any of your
fellow gamers have sent a whisper, or if someone in the lobby has tried to
say something worth reading because all the text is gone from the chat
buffer because these morons are spewing their advertisements for buying
hacks every second.

Is there another way to block their chat?
