Hacker Report Ribbons
Well, my idea is very simply. All honest players hate hackers, glitchers and other low level lifeforms in game. Every player could earn some ribbons for reporting hackers. Of course only reports which finaly results permanent ban of reported hacker at the end, can counts for it, to avoid some noob reports and the "tide of reports". There could be several classes for those ribbons as it shows bellow:
1. 50 reports - KEEP CF CLEAN RIBBON + 1000 Exp.
2. 100 reports - ONLY BANNED HACKER IS GOOD HACKER RIBBON + 2000 Exp. + 500 GP
3. 200 reports - HACKER HEAD HUNTER RIBBON + 5000 Exp. + permanent name card "HACKER HUNTER"
4. 500 reports - CF MARSHALL RIBBON - 5000 Exp. + permanent name card "CF MARSHAL" + permanent Anaconda Adv. (yeah this is real gun for marshall
).
". Otherwise, some QQ reports and noob reports can get counter action by warning reporter if he do a lot of no reason reports. If someone do a lot of no reasonable reports, he can get 3 day bann out of game, and sticky PM of warning at forum with explanation.
I know, this can couses more job for GMs, but they can get more GMs employed and finnaly make this game hackers free at least.
So what do you think about it?

Well... When you report, you must be knowing that you'll get no reward. I think it would be a good idea, but the GM's would have to watch too many videos of trying reports or false reports.
And if we could get at least the Report Ribbon. Why not to put a Banned Ribbon (for the hacker).

At least we would know if the guy were banned for the second or third time. -
Good and bad idea.. I think that if we do have this ribbon, it would have to be descrete. Something that cannot be seen from the CF pages and is named something like "Hacker Hunter". Those who do recieve this ribbon will be forwarded either an email or a reply like form in a support ticket. Bad enough that z8games is understaffed but to be overly flooded with false reports, we cannot expect to get that ribbon any time soon.
What I think would be the best solution is for it be a ribbon that cannot be accomplished... I've sent a handful of reports to z8games and they've analyzed all of them. Of course that was a long while ago.. So instead of being able to accomplish this ribbon, if you have successfuly reported a hacker in the past, you would be given the Ribbon.
What about the other players? Well I know that it would be a rather "unfair" ribbon but truth is, there's no real way of having this ribbon without it being unfair. Unless of course z8games wants to be spammed with reports.. -

I don't know what about this, but, if a good reporter reports and he GM's don't agree the guy is hacking (like the see-ghost hack), then the good reporter would get banned.
What he's saying is that when you send in a ban report, there is a comment section where you can explain what to look for.. If you leave it blank and the staff member disagrees with his evaluation, the reporter will be given a warning.. If the reporter keeps sending in blank reports such as that, then the reporter will be suspended for 3 days.. z8games never fully bans on 1st offense even though if they did, we prolly wouldnt see as many hackers as we do today since they've to be making numerous accounts. -
Good reporter will never send a bunch of bad reports in short period. Personally, I send a 230 reports till now. Every report I had watch before I send (otherwise I can´t fill the reporting form as well), and I always watch replay from hackers view to recognize the type of his hacking. And only when I´m pretty sure that he really hack, and only then, I send report. Maybe GMs can limit a number of reports, depend of reporters rank, expirience and date of registration. I know very good about possibility of spamming GMs by tones of reports, but maybe they can´t find the way to limit non skilled players to spamm them by false reports. For example, I don´t belive that Petty Officers make a lot of false reports.I don't know what about this, but, if a good reporter reports and he GM's don't agree the guy is hacking (like the see-ghost hack), then the good reporter would get banned.
At the end you can always see if your report has been positive. Wait for a few weeks after report and then look for a hackers profile and see last play date. It´s not so precisely method, but if you see that reported player doesn´t play 2 months after your report, you can be pretty sure he has been banned for good.
At the end, I think that hacker reporting requires a lot of time, so it could be fine to value reporters effort to keep this game clean. This is my suggestion, but GMs can find some other way to reward reporters effort.
At least, if Z8 could advertise CrossFire as hackers free game, they will make more players join to CF.
