What did you expect from that ribbon?
I'm often on the forum but rarely post to avoid the troll.
Since there's a reward for contributing to the community then why not?
I'm not the kind of person that post stuff like "QFT, LOL, MSG2S, etc".
These people are fine examples of what this could bring to the forums. Now we must choose do the rest of the spammers outweigh the few who actually provide a positive experience to the community?
I say remove the ribbon or make it something like 50 posts. The forum community was one of the few good parts left in cf. Now it's ruined because by the time anybody good can post it's lost in pages and pages of spam.
I have 3,400 posts on my main forum account, I only finished this one off to have the ribbon which is almost meaningless to me but I was only 14 away when the patch came so why not?
This probably won't even be read by many due to the fact it's 7-8 pages in to a thread full of spam that nobody wants to read through.

There are so many people that have just suddenly appeared since the patch updated on Thursday. People with names I don't recognize, not the spamming BRs, but people who are just post hounding and with no Avatar (Not that there's anything wrong with not having a pic).
XD Are you thinking what I'm thinking? That these people have suddenly appeared on our CF community to get 250 for the Military Intel Ribbon?
It's funny how a while back you would click on a thread and see at max 3~5 pages. Nowadays even the most useless threads have 8+ pages of newcomers talking <bad word>.
Not even gonna bother reading the whole thread since most people will have said "Haha nice"/"Nice topic Guys"/"I like"... or other <bad word> like that.
They should have made the ribbon available ONLY to forumers who had 1K post on that DAY. -
