I've reset my kd yesterday, and the ribbons of headshots it's remained, look at my profile

I reset mine because when I first started playing I died a LOT...so its been very hard to get it to over 2.0 without turning into a farmer. I reset my KDR and it did reset my headshots. I have not lost my ribbon yet....however if I do I plan to write z8 to have my KDR unreset. I will have lost more then I gained by doing the reset. I think its bogus to take away a ribbon you've already earned, but I don't think our opinions have much pull in the game.
So if you're thinking about doing a reset you might want to email them to find out if it will screw up your ribbons. I wish a MOD would chime in here and clarity this so there is no wondering. I might email them either way to have them unreset my KDR. I only reset it for the ribbon since I know my KDR would be over 2.0 if I was as good as a noob as I am now.
