Ribbon Removal.
I've been monitoring the forums for this day, and I can say that the "Military Intelligence" ribbon is screwing up the forums with spammers and desperate people wanting the ribbon rewards.
Anyone so sure that this ribbon was a good idea? It seems as if Z8 wanted people to go on forums and learn about the rules and community, but instead backfired with all this.
Discuss the situation.

the intention was a good one. sadly it backfired. quite ironic that the name of the badge is
called military intelligence, when you look at that uselss amount of posts the forum is being flooded with. well, you should always try. if you fail just change tactics, which has been done already. (250 posts) -

We've been 250 before this happened.
My average thread post count is 20 under and it reaches 30 above now. Makes me glad and disappointed since it's mostly spam from new forumers.
I've already thought of the ribbon's ironic take and laughed at it all.
This also reminds me of the USP thing. "Like" CF on FB and get a free USP, which also made its page full of spammers and complainers.
I can give you a picture from FB and have more than half of them complaining and spamming (excluding the ones suffering from the FB worms, making it totally irrelevant from CF). -
Forums are going to be annoying for atleast a week. They spam like mad so should have got their ribbon in less than a week.
I'll still come here but I'll probably not pay attention to all the threads since half of them.are made by these noobs. They don't understand this ribbon is made for forumers? What are they going to do about the ribbon for winning the movie contest? These guys must understand not all the ribbons are for them. When z8 makes a ribbon they don't make it for all of us but only for a handfull of players who deserve it.
What I really don't like about this so well named "spamfest" is that we don't know these guys at all and I feel uncomfortable about the fact some might be hackers.
MODs have to be extremly hard with those noobs. Like perm ban from forums if they spam **** like "this post is verry interest" (I swear they say that, proper english right?)... -

What's kinda hilarious is some of them post here and think they are part of our world/community which is totally false. I never jad anything against new forumers but right now I think I might have to consider all of the new posters as noobs. Lets see how many stay after getting their ribbon and get accepted.
Wait they made the ribbon 250posts?
MODs and GMs I quggest that next time you make a forum related post you make a sticky here (barracks) to let those who have/deserve to know know. You probably should've started with a "Forum Elder" or "Forum Hermit" (first post is atleast a year old).

You've got quite a few typos yourself, sir.
If they complain about the ribbon, let them since we can see who's on the forumer side and which is on the "achievement" side.
Reminds me of BC2:

and whenever they were just a small way from from that achievement, they rage. Hard. (Like how a Black Ops person yells out BS when they die).

I think they dropped the count so the forums won't get spammed hard.
You should know since, if you remember STYX and other elders, could have gotten more than a average of 30-50 posts a day.

Well I personally like the fact they gave ppl the chance to get this ribbon, I honestly have never cared for the forums but seeing a chance for this ribbon has got me to start trolling about them. And in response to the brs, at least they cant lag here. You have the to be thankful for

Not to be over used on monitored areas, only on designated parts of the internet. -
Lol good thing they reduced it to 250 because if its 1000 this spammers whos desperately trying to get 250 will be spamming more because 1000 is just way too much xD

Brazilians are not the only ones who hack, but they are in a higher percentage than others. And they do own the world's part of scammers (Source: BBC)... But NO! The percentage is lower than this assumption of yours. -

1.- You missed more colours there to make a rainbow.
2.- Some people spammed to get to the 1000+ posts, and not necessary everyone posts outside OffTopic.
I personally prefer mature and helpful people as MODs rather than 1000+ posters.
