Two Ribbons
About the Military Intelligence ribbon...
Personally I think lessening this requirement was the team giving in to avoiding the constant spam. This ribbon should be earned after all. 1k posts means you contribute to this community and have remained a proper level of acceptance for quite some time in the forums. 250 posts is nothing. Where's the good feeling of earning that amount? Kinda takes away the good feel of being a contributor of such regards.
Second, about the My Ribbons are Crystal
What happens if you lose your total count of 20 ribbons upon getting this? Will the M4-CC be removed?
IE: 20 Ribbons, you lose the Clutch Killer ribbon, would you lose that ribbon AND your M4? Both? Or neither?

You def lose the ribbon. As for the reward for it it probably stays -
you know how hard to get 1000 posts for the most people ? 250 posts is fine
its not hard, if you contribute properly it can be really easy. I haven't been on the forums very long and I've almost met the requirement.
People need to learn patience. -

Obviously, we have immature forumers on this board. This new ribbon will obviously bring some spammers who just want the ribbon. I've been talking with some mods and they are taking care of it. They won't reach 250 posts without getting banned if they don't contribute.
The ribbon will be lost if you lose 20 ribbons, but the M4 Crystal stays. Once you get another 20, it doesn't give you another Crystal. This is mainly so that people can't duplicate the Crystal, as in going under 2KDR, and losing the ribbon, and then going back up and getting another Crystal.Crusader1997 wrote: »Wait, so can ribbons be lost except the Don'tgetbanned one?

It's a good point. But after some examination of the situation lessening this particular one is the right step.
The ribbon has already achieved what it was supposed to do. And in a lot of positive ways that may not just be obvious because of the spam. But spamming for 1,000 posts just isn't something we wanted.
We'll be making a more official statement on this once we sort out the issues that seemed to show up in the game post-testing and post-patch that have completely blind-sided us.
Also, not to mention we WILL be doing more stuff with the forums, involving post counts and other things with games. This was just the first step in tying a forum account to a game account. Always have to take a first step to make sure the next one is better. 1,000 was just not going to accomplish what 250 can do.
As for the Crystal, it works the same way as the collect-10 ribbons award. Once you receive the award it is permanent on your account. Losing a ribbon like clutch killer won't remove the gun and/or ribbon from your account. -

Yes, it is the KDR of your account at the end of the day or whenever the system updates that is put into consideration. -

if you have 20 ribbons, you get the crystal ribbon. now u have to lose 2 ribbons, in order to get that deleted. clutchkiller and honourable soldier badge can be lost, i am not sure about the other ones, but i think they stay forever -
The m4 should not disappear, Although I'm unsure, and the ribbons get rechecked every time you log in.
As for the post requirement ribbon, it was more to test ribbons with the forums. And the 1k one was just going to lead us straight to hell. While it's had it's upsides, the spamming is a bit to much, and we have alot to worry about in game currently.
When the game is back to 100%, it'll be looked into, but for now there's just so much going on that it's hard to keep up with both. -
So before the patch i didnt even recognized the ribbons.
But i need 5 more ribbons and they are easy to get, so i like them now!
My only suggestion:
Create a golden Gun ribbon! Only for couponsweapons, and place 10000 GP reward on it!
Cause i need more ribbons XD -

It is true though, haters are gonna hate and spammers are gonna spam, just sos they can get those 1 k posts. sure it'll be nice to see new faces on the forums, but shed loads of people will make meaningless posts that won't enrich the community and will most likely be TRALALALLAAL.
