Launcher Problems

For those who are experiencing a launcher window that looks like this



Can you please provide relevant system information. Including your OS. Also, any relevant screenshots or anything else you can think of will help us solve tihs problem.

This error is not happening for everyone, and we need to track down the specific cause of this problem. Our test machines can't replicate the error.

In the mean time to run the game you can follow these steps:

Right Click on the Crossfire Icon and choose the option "Open Location"

In the directory that opens find the file labeled "Patcher_CF.exe"

Run that file which will load the game.

What about errors in game (HERO MODE) every time DC when i kill mutant? And exp 0??

Mine looks like that, windows 7 32 bit. If I press 'Alt' The Start button shows up and all the writing in the main box disappears but it's still not possible to click on start.

Yep but when you finish the game u got 0 exp

Windows 7 64 bit, shows just as that. ( for my mate, he can't play at all ) he tried to reinstall aswell.

Noooo its not the windows 7 64 bit's problem. i have it and everything alh work perfect. maybe its a Flash player.shockwave player. a third party prog. update ur widows too

you must start the game manual in the Z8Games Datei and klik on the Patch and start him manuell

also ingame problems like "send error report"

SO:
At first, the normal launcher was there, i pressed start game...it patched...everything fine...then i go ingame, kill a mutant, wanna go to a supply box and suddenly it says: SEND ERROR REPORT?
i pressed ok, CF closed and then i pressed CF again and the fail laucher was there...i guess there are other ppl who had the same sh*t?
sry, z8, but that fcks me up a lil....

First of all the solution is this:

1. download this and update

2. When we have already installed, dump these files:

3. Go to the folder of z8games and replacing those files.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Z8Games\CrossFire

This should work perfectly. 100% virus free

yeah, in win 7 dont problem, win xp and vista many erros
