i just put xp on my old computer and i downloaded crossfire and i tried too play but it just said ''missing shell'' or some sh1t like that and i redownloaded it three times and the last time it just went to a blank screen and eventualy just completaly closed... i think your latest download of the game is corrupt or missing a part of crossfire.
so tell me.. WHY THE HELL IS IT DOING THIS!??!

''Old computer'' that includes a 1 mb ram? Poor Graphic card? Also you might consider downloading the XP service pack 3 which your computer must have asked you after the installation. The sp3 fixes some bugs on how it runs programs.

(remember to instal sp2 first)

It's probably cshell.dll

Sometimes that file can go missing or corrupt. It's not necessarily Cross Fire's fault.

Errors like that, sometimes your best bet can be a google search. I believe there are plenty of places to download the dll file.

googling a dll file -_- If you got Mcaffee site adviser I'm pretty sure all those links are red pages and full of viruses.

yea id look at the physical end of things, such as the RAM processor and wat not. if tht doesnt work then its probly the dll.

ok get something like ccleaner because it has a registry fix on it that finds dll's that are missing or broken and fix's them and just click start game and dont press anything if its a black screen usualy first time its a little slow and if u click or move the mouse it tends to crash
