it hapenned to me 9 times yesterday and my team blamed me for not defusing quickly

Just happened to me today.


It was a tight 1 v 4 clutch on Sanatora.

Almost had it -__-

When you play ghost mode alot... you get this problem alot..

It happens when the delay of you defusing and the bomb exploding is in between your ping. So people with higher pings will see this more. The noise and defuse badge pops up before the server checks to see if you ever defused. The server ends up getting the fact that you defused late, and you sit back in your chair and put on a sad face.

BONUS: You can see this in another way by starting to plant the bomb in midair while jumping out of the bomb zone. It will still let you finish planting and the plant message will pop up but you will not plant the bomb.

No. he is talking about something else. When the patch for santoria came out I had the same problem. You plant the bomb, it says its planted but its not down but still in ure hands. If u try to plant it again, it kicks you out of the game. I had that problem until they patched it. Now, what the thread author is saying is that when u plant the bomb, a few seconds later, it spotaneously says bomb defused, mission failed when there is nobody even close to the bomb site, or even defusing. It happened to me several times, i watched the bomb closely and in like 10 seconds it sayd bomb defused and I'm like 'WDF" there is no one there. I think previously it was a h4ck that you can defuse across the map in a click, but idk if it the same thing now. Its just really annoying, you can't plant the bomb, because you automatically lose
