not true, i always firefight with laggers and lose cause half of my shots dont seem to register. put a whole clip into some lagger dudes chest (rofl not a whole clip but at least 15 bullets with burst) and only like 50 damage then BAM! dead -
I have no clue what you are talking about when you say High Pings don't lag, it's a known fact that if you have a high ping you are FARTHER from the server except in my case, I am using a CRICKET MOBILE BROADBAND CARD. It's not designed for gaming so my ping of 40 is now a ping of 100+ till I move, this is because I am no where near a Cricket (pfft they use Sprint Towers) Tower. When I play with 100+ ping I don't see how people do it, I start lagging if it spikes to 150+ which it usually does when I'm in a room with normal high pingers. There are very few players with pings over 130 I would consider skilled personally, when I first started this game people use to shout "PINGS OVER 150+ SHOULD BE BANNED" now it's impossible to even find a game with people barely under 130+ ping. It's true that not everyone with low ping are skilled players, there is room for them to learn, but you obviously completely missed the point in my post. I am not crying but I will be a Grammar and Punctuation Nazi in saying "Omg kid go back to school."

All the low pingers always say that the high pingers are the ones with the advantages (while it is globally know that low ping has an advantage over high ping, but hey, this is CF, the land of little kids and QQ'ers, so...)
I told a few guys so many times that if they really think high ping has advantages, that they should play west coast instead of canadian server. They don't want to do it, cause it would screw up their ping... (well, I thought they said high ping is easier? whatever, they just like to QQ)
but for some reason, people just don't want to believe it's easier to play with low ping, so really, you made me so happy with your post, admitting that it's harder to play with high ping. Respect to you! -

In the few pub SnD games I joined, I went with scores of 20-1, 18-3, 25-2. People cannot hit you. Don't try to pull that crap here, when you have never had a low ping in THIS game.
Second, YOU high pingers are the anomaly in the game. You are not meant to play with high pings. We can whine and moan all we want because YOU are the ones not supposed to be here. We, the low pingers, are as close to true registry as you are going to get in this game.
SIT DOWN, and stop crying about low pingers. Everyone (besides you high pingers) know that having a high ping (not lagging) is an advantage. -

So you basically just lag...And I suppose your Cyber Cafe is no where near the states therefore you are FARTHER away from the server and you lag.

My main point is when I started Crossfire I took joy in playing, I didn't mind spending money on the extras and probably would still be if it weren't for the games obvious problems. It's the main reason why online games die then again I can't exactly go around demanding instant results for it's probably also hard for the company to keep with maintaining it's servers, managing its check books, and sitting around thinking wtf they can do about it. But I suppose the high pings also help maintain the game. Crossfire was my first FPS game and I was excited when my skills improved but now I find it pointless when others either buy their skills or just lag/tank into a kill.
I still want to play this game though, I'll wait till they take care of their problems to really return.
What the f**k?im from germany,if my english is s**t,then i laugh about people like you calling me a "grammar nazi",it dont interest me even a little bit.and to your post,maybe you didnt get my point because of my bad english,i can play the game with 800+ ping if i fcking want to,so cry where else wit your fcking low pingers,if theres the uk server soon,there are no "high-pingers" anymore,but i know for sure,youre one of the players which are still crying there are high-pingers.over and out. -

For everything u said BLAME CF not the high pingers. Cause CF didnt made the UK Servers top priority like they did Halloween patch. If there will be EU Servers, u will play alone with ur friends only. And that, sir, is the truth. In a full game i c only 4-5 low pingers only MAX. Imagine this.
I dont like to play with low pingers as well, if lag too much. Feelings are working vice versa. -

The reason you see so little low pingers is because:
YOU ARE ON A DIFFERENT CONTINENT. DIFFERENT TIMEZONE.
Stfu and sit down you scrubs. They didn't make UK a top priority because it is a NORTH AMERICAN GAME COMPANY.

Sorry, but that's a lot of bullsh*t. Pings like 130-175 are pretty decent and playable. Low pingers have no problems with killing EU pingers. I remember playing cs. In a pub server, people with 100+ ping would be kicked for lagging!
I had admin on a server and I remember having to defend 80 pingers who were being called laggers. Add the hacking issue to the argument and you have the reason why a lot of competitive players left... -

When I was using my normal connection and people were like HEY LET'S PLAY WEST COAST...40 ping when to 99 ping and I was like OMG. When I started gaming with my mobile broadband card it was hard to go from 40 to 100+ to 130+. You have to adjust everything and to me it seems like my shots on low pingers are really just luck shots. My original post in the thread...if you read....I did not cry as you are doing now, I was simply wondering...where the hell everyone is. I really don't have time to learn 5 other languages just to play a game in English. And how long would it have taken you to download the game if you have 800 ping? lol, download rate of 10 KB/hour? It's odd because in game a guy that lag shots me is more troublesome than these fail aimbotting, chamming bad kids.
Look, I love playing games with international players, but for some reason it doesn't work out as well on a FPS game versus an MMORPG. I never understood this but are there not gaming companies in Europe? I think the worst part is that some people come play these games and just exclude interacting with the native players altogether. I wouldn't mine sharing a few broken English conversations.

Yes, ALL players have a RIGHT to play this game.
However, when you're playing with 100+ ping you're being rather selfish and making the game less enjoyable for people with respectable pings to play.
With the way this game deals with lag, its complete crap. Instead of YOU freezing, YOU continue to move around while the model is frozen and then snaps to your current position (often with a shotgun effect of bullets coming from your gun)
This makes it hard to snipe, as people will "skip" across angles, shots will not register, etc.
I really hope they get the UK server out on time, as that will cut the ping problem down a bit (of course you'll still have the stubborn players who will continue to come to US servers, and if its anything like the west coast server it will go down from time to time)
I have never had a problem with EU players. I'm tired of hearing the "Ping = Skill" excuse though. I play to win on a balanced platform and if the odds are stacked against you, why bother? Plenty of FPS games out there have EU servers. Go go! -

well think about it.. someone had a point... lagging is only visible and only a problem for ppl with over 200 ping.... and thats the brasilians... do like combat arms and a few other games and ban them.. they all hack anyways... geez.... oh and most of the brasilians dont buy ZP so why are they still here making our NORTH AMERICAN game worse... they dont deserve to play our game, since all they do is ruin it.
and flamers... dont play the "this isnt combat arms" card... bc u know im right.. i just mentioned that game bc it was first thought to come up -

I'm not really one to discriminate against people, the current state of Crossfire is just a minor annoyance in my gaming life that has made me cut my time and search for a new game to waste money on elsewhere. But I'm just one person, no big lost.
I've played CF for awhile now and I think I've improved considerably but I can't even find a match to play that is equal to test my abilities. -

Oh and, aside all the flamin' (rofl this just gave me the idea of making a new character called FlaminQQ) low ping has helped me a lot, when i'm shooting a 100+ pinger and blast bullets biolently (typo was on purpose xD) in their pixelated bodies I end up running out of bullets. but oh? what's this? 2 seconds later the high pinger dies xD. -

I swear one time I lag shot a high pinger....and I thought to myself "Now how does that work?"
And I always keep a bucket next to my computer for all those flames...sometimes there are enough flames for a BBQ.
