If you downloaded the game with your antivirus active, it may be 'cleaning' the rez file upon download.
I try this right now lets see if it works to me

- I did like you say
- I uninstall the antivirus(i had trial version) and the game
- I also delete some files of C/Windows/Prefetch something with Crossfire and Gbox take care what you delete lol
-Restart PC
- Install game again and it work

lol i`m getin an error first time the game stay 5 min in lobby and i get an error file was changed and it doesn`t start
i reinstall again i play 2 maps i leave game 1 min in lobby and i get error again file was changed
what`s the problem?

Maybe your comp hates you? Lol jk try an alternate download for crossfire.
