Well i only have SL, but i dont use it that much, M4 does the same thing..

But I'm starting to love the Steyr, I might buy it...

The Steyr is probably better. It's a headshot monster and great for countering snipers.

yea i was thinking of the steyr as well but need others opinions on how the gun is, owners opinions

Steyr's a monster in long range, because of the scope and accuracy, If im not mistaken , is the most accurate rifle in CF..

And SL well, I dont think you really need an explanation for this gun

steyr aug is a great gun, but its not a gun you would want to use on and off.

i have it on a noob account and when i feel like using the aug, i suck with it. only because i havent used it in a while. once you get used to it, youll be a machine.

scar light is more used, for obvious reasons. the biggest difference between the 2 guns (IMO) are the reload times. if your someone who can find cover fast while boxing or even countersniping, then the aug wont be a problem. the scar lights reload time whoops the aug. you could reload and kill an aug user by the time the aug user is done reloading.

^that being said, its still not a bad reload time. it will seem like forever if your dodging bullets in an open spot though.

Heh, Coming from an owner of both Weapons... You want respect & gain skills at the same time use the Aug. Once you master the gun, your a force to be reckon with.

AUG A1 is better

Get the AUG, after some practise you pop heads like crazy, and is unstoppable in CQC. (just aim well) I'm getting an AUG soon to replace my sniper(i never use it) I'll still use my M4 more but its great for maps like halloween where you get long range and close range alot.
The Scar Light is just nooby, no recoil, crazy power, weighs nothing, you'll get NO respect for using it and people get ****ed.
It's kinda funny that the M4,XM8,FAMAS,G36K,AUG,SG552,K2,QBZ and the Scar Light shoot the same bullets but the power is so scattered.

aug is great for long and mid range but its not a rushing gun
sometimes m16 owns u
i suggsest playing at powerplant to shoot the snipers then the noobs come throught the tunnel and then u own them

IMO,get for the AUG.Ive wanted to buy with my new earned gp a sl,but then i bought a aug,just for fun!after that i fought i have to hit my self,but after that,ive made a 40/8 Santoria run and until this nice advantage with the steyr aug i will never use my scar light again,i personally feel myself unhonored by using my scar light.
