Gun Bayonets?

Well i was thinking... why dont all guns have a right click feature... then i thought way not put a bayonet on it?!

Ideas- AK 47 with bayonet.
normal ak stats.
right click = stab ... cooldown of stab 2-5 seconds regardless of weather a hit or miss.
1 shot kill when in stomach or head.

smg with small knife on end
normal smg stats
right click = slash ... like the knife only slower and less hit range. 1-3 sec cooldown regardless of miss or hit.


i duno if its been said before.

Actually, this would be pointless. It would completely destroy the need for melee weapons, especially the one-hit-kill for AK-47. Besides, you can still shoot people from close quarters.

Bayonettes were used in the olden days, when all guns were non auto and so they had to have the bayonette as a back up, knowing that if they need to reload between each shot, if someone got close they could. Nowadays, we can just blow there brains out. Simple :P

While I also lol at the bayonet SMG, people put bayonets on guns other than muzzle loaders all the time... like the Type99, Sig550, M16, M4, Winchester 1912 (sexy), need I continue? Also the JOKES ON YOU, other versions already have bayoneted weapons.

i think the ak idea was great... but the smg.. mmm.. dont convice me.. sounds so epic..

you can't use it, just for show.

Yeah, it's a step in the right direction tho =P
