This is a personal hobby of mine. :P Building PC's at minimal prices that run most applications efficiently.

Too bad I can never afford my own creations. xD

    Don't suggest a job I'm 15 and busy with school anyway. -.-

^ thats also me, except minus 1 year

    You actually found my post?

    Lol.

Not really busy with school though. I'm homeschooled.

One advise I will give to you .
save your money in stead of upgrading the one you have already . Build a new one . Cause upgrading an old one will cost you twice you would spent on a new one on long terms.
I know that you said at the beginning that you can`t afford for a new one . but . I think many of those who guided you through post will agree with me.;)

Technology moves too fast to stay too far back.

Even though I'm stuck in 2003.

Hahahaha that`s more than an oldie :p

That isn't that powerful by enthusiast standards.

And yeah, it's an oldie, but I mostly play Counter Strike 1.6 and Cf, not much need for more.

For me too.The only games i have installed are crossfire, command and conquer 3 and lego harry potter(daughter). So i only need a slightly better computer.Just want a better fps.

I think for a temporary fix a 2gb ram and a better video card should keep computer alive for a while .Until my daughter grows up gets a job and repays me everything i have given to her.:)

A state of the art computer would be nice but in priority terms a new computer comes way down my list.

    Haha yeah.

The graphics card probably won't help too much, but it will help a little. That ram is a pain though...

ok , let me tell you how will be the story .:o
You look for the RAM and it does not fit your mother board ( not compatible ) then you need to change the mother board , and the processor do not fit the mother board , then you buy one that fit the the MB. and then the graphic card also is not compatible , and you change the G.Card . " Must I continue ?:p
the only chance you have is to find someone who repair computers and see if they have that memory cards ( RAM ) and sell them to you.

That's why he will go to a store, where they will specially put the ram in, he knows what kind of ram is needed.

Contrary to popular belief, most pc parts are quite cross compatible.
