I am not an admin.
I would just like to let the community know that I, Tim "loneB" Mayevski, am not a part of WOGL (World Online Gaming League) and NESL (National Electronic Sports League). I have left both of these positions and am not responsible for resolving issues and answering questions. Please refer to the appropriate site and use the resources available, such as different admins or the support system.
I have enjoyed working closely with the many hard working, smart individuals over the past year involving leagues, organizations, and events for CrossFire. The time and effort spent on helping the competitive community seemed wasted at moments, but I still believe there are possibilities. As always it relies heavily on certain people within the community doing their part to understand and work with what CrossFire has to offer.

Damn, admins dropping from leauges like PUGs from the scene
Your kind words inspire me yet again.
Guess I'll have to do what PUGs do and try again repeatedly before failing miserably.
Edit: I'm joking, you guys hosting small events are trying. Just get organized. -

Need the structure in teams, before the competitive scene can be born.
Trying to work backwards is stupid. -

Yeah...teams also need a place to begin. Example? VSGL, IGL, ESL. Without those three leagues in the beginning I am sure things would be different now. It is not "building backwards", as teams can have dedication and structure if there is something to work towards. We are all working together to build something better.
Also I am not sure if your trying to say something about my time as an admin Bruce, as I have spent the better part of a year working with one company. (Then again your probably just posting about teams.) Anyway, I just wish them the best, as they do have the resources to make the situation better for CrossFire.
Edit: I don't have time to clarify, I think I'm going to give people the wrong idea. -

IGL - Great league till vN's corruptness killed it
VSGL - Great league till the admins got over loaded and just disappeared
ESL - Great tournament till the euros kicked us out!
Really the key to remember is fun. If you aren't having fun as a team you probably won't survive. -

Teams in general, yabl0w.

Are you serious? Considering you got cut.. I'd be mad too. Enjoy your WOGL ban though.
Btw, did you see the creation date? May 27 2010. How many teams do you see around still that play competitively that have lasted? 3 maybe right? Unfortunately I've had a difficult time the last 2 weeks getting dedicated people that actually get on, but die[N]asty isn't dead and never was. -

Can't be said any better than that.iShopBellaOo wrote: »Because they seem to think having a group of the 5 top skilled players they can find is a good idea, then egos rub, and people break up, and since there are only so many players, they keep remaking.
Vicious circle.
Exactly, drop the egos, and just chill out.

QFT.
I believe a team needs to believe they ARE a team, and it starts from doing the little things.. it's something I try to teach each player that wants to play for my team. If you don't fit my system, you're gone.
This video sums it up.

Pronger - "You need to put the teams success over personal glory or personal success."
O'Donnell - "When you're on that ice and your sharing that crest you and you're playing towards that common goal.. you gotta lay it on the line."
Richards - "You gotta play for the guy next to you and go that extra mile for him."
Most players in this game DON'T and will NEVER understand this. Most players play for themselves only and think who doesn't drop a 20 every scrim is a horrible player and should quit.
