cross fire not responding when i start it

hi im new to this game only downloaded it today.so when i start it then it says croos fire is not responding and the shuts the game off why is this happaning?

Also, I suggest making sure you dont have any other programs running that you dont need. I disable my anti-virus and close other needless things. Hope that helps you out some.
