Post Counts

We are not creating a make work project by resetting post counts of every user.

In one example, a user who has been known in the past to make pointless obnoxious posts for the sake of upping post counts was dealt with. This user has also received infractions and if they continue to break the rules will be removed from the forums.

This example however did not set some sort of precedent for the users of our forums to ask for the ridiculous.

Besides of which, if we did reset post counts you'll be real upset when we release community features that might rely on them.


We want people to post in proper discussions in the proper forums. Not make a mockery out of them.

So... if a certain user continuously posted "inb4close", they would get their posts reset?

Posts of that nature run the risk of being infracted under a bunch of different rules. Spam being one of them.
