Steyr AUG A1 or TAR-21?

So today I picked up a AUG for the first in a long time and it felt pretty damn good, I checked out the stats (I know they can't be trusted but still) and it was better then the TAR-21 except the weight atleast thats what the stats are saying so Steyr AUG A1 (the GP AUG) vs TAR-21 what to pick and why?

I can't say because I haven't used a TAR 21, but the thing is, you're right, stats can't be trusted. Don't rely on the stats 100% when buying a gun. Don't believe me? Compare the stats of the M4 and the M12s. XD

The AUG has a horrible reload rate, that is really the only reason why I don't like the gun.

Yeah the reload rate is a bich, I kinda got the feeling they boosted the gun, or I just got a bit better now idk

AUG- Its a headshot beast, reload is a bi*tch.
TAR- Once you've learnt to control the TAR, its beast.

aug has more power in my opinion, since i can zoom in and spray it like a PSG, but...

I like the Tar. It's funneh.

I like the streyer over the TAR. The tar is bulky but futuristic-like and has good accuracy just like the streyer.. However the TAR (at least when I used it) had a bouncy recoil and was rather hard to shoot consitently. Even if it was suppressing fire, it was a bit hard to handle for me.
Streyer has a good spray, and it's more stabalized. As for the zoom feature, both weapons have the similar recoil. Just I guesss since the Streyer doesnt take up the screen, it doesn't bother me as much and I can focus. Both guns are good, but for me, I'd always pick the streyer.

I preffer TAR! Better ROF!

AUG looks heavy and slow, i love the aug, it's a headshot machine, but for a lagger (like meh) TAR is better!

if your not good with long range hs then aug (tapping), but if you are tar is super beast, i like it better with out the zoom i think it has a tighter spay pattern than aug, but thats up to you.

I have a Tar and I have used a Steyr.
In my opinion I would rather have the Tar because of many reasons.
I like the half-scope even though a Steyr has one.
They both have the same amount of ammo.
But I think the automatic rate on the Tar is faster that would put its recoil lower.
I guess I would rather use a Tar because( mainly because of one reason )it has a faster reloading rate.

Steyr Aug A1 all the way. But you have to know how to conserve bullets and reload at the right time.

imo, tar21 is the better of the 2.

1. It has an intense Rof (rate of fire)
2. It has great accuracy
3. the scope zooms more

I used to use the AUG sooooo much. It's amazing, very underrated.
Headshot machine, plus you have to know how to use it up close.

However, Tar is a little better up close. I'd say there are about the same.

the tar has the same stats as an m4a1 last time i checked. aug is the lowest recoiling rifle. what do you mean cant be trusted? i'd pick tar, but wouldnt hesitate if i was given aug.

TAR = headshot machine.

With both AUG and TAR you can easily headshot.

The only thing that sux is the reload of the AUG..

I prefer the TAR... It has great accuracy and a high ROF, making it awesome at both close quarters and long range (really only if you can burst/tap)...
