WWII Sniper Rifles?
Hey everyone! i just wanted to ask ur opinion on something. Um, well, I'm a World War II fanatic (if I can say tht), so i kinda was wondering if the guys from Z8 were thinking on putting a or a few WWII sniper rifles. I kinda started ranking which ones I would most likely want in the game, but tht's just me.
1.Kar98k (Germany)
2.M1903 (US)
3.Mosin Nagant (Soviet Union)
4.Lee-Enfield No.04 (UK)
5.Arisaka 97 (Japan)
Personally, I would want the Kar98k. I think its a pretty good rifle. So, if u guys think i may have under-rated or over-rated a rifle, plz reply to this post. I researched the Kar98k, its range is 100 meters (approx. 1093 yrds)!

Yeah, Lee Enfield and Mosin Nagant Scoped are pretty good there, still i can see no reason to put it in here, you cant compare it with guns like awm which are technically far better..
You can look cool with such guns, true, still in game those guns wouldnt be very helpful.. -
The reason they wouldn't put them is because the stouryline of the game isn't set iN WWII
Plus comparing these guns to the modern ones we have in game
(AWM with a maximum effective range of 1100 m) is nonsense
All of these guns have 500-800m effective range at most -

isnt Thompson a ww2 gun? -
I've suggested this like an year and half ago. It's good IMO. However there is no point in suggesting things because none really takes it under consideration. There is tons of really good and improving suggestions - none of the CF staff gives a shiet about it. At least it have been like this for 2 years.

And saying they won't put a gun in here because it's "old" is serious bullsh1t, they already have the damn Thompson and Winchester in here.
Thats true, but even guys with winchester dont use it very often.. In this case people would use it even less often.. Those snipers are far less powerful than awm with probably similar weight, so you would need to go for headshots to have at least slight chance to survive..
And when you go for headshots, why would u use these snipers when there is m700 which can do the same job with half a weight? -

Thompson is still used by a lot of countries even though it sucks irl
Winchie is really old but anyway it's only 2 guns

It's just 2 guns
If we add most of WWII rifles it will eventually turn into ... well a stupid game
Plus these rifles irl are less powerful than the M700
And heavy as the AWM
Why should we add them? -

more stupid is the crystal m4, hallowen and xmas weapons, THAT IS STUPID!
the mauser is the most epic bolt rifle in the history, and will be great adding here, A.V.A, an modern fps ( alliance of valiant arms ) have the Kar98,Mossin,MP40,Stg44,Walterp38,M1Garant, etc. So what is the problem if those weapons adding here? OH RIGTH YOU WAIT OTHERS STUPIDS RESKINS , Cf china have Mauser 1891 pistol ^^ -

WolfTeam (idk if u heard of it), has the Kar98k and the Mosin in it. I used the Kar98k for a day and it was AWESOME! But, the only thing is tht its a timed weapon. Thats y i was asking about them here. The one dude doesnt seem to be very thrilled about my post.

this is freak'n funny. U just revolve urself around the future, a bit too much. Really?!?! MP5-custom? M4A1-Knife? isnt the AK-47-Knife enough already? thts so stupid of u. Car-15 is a M4a1 anyway, just slightly different. Oh, Mauser can put their name in their weapons, idiot!
