Changing nickname problem

I want to change my nickname to one i had before, but it seems it doesn't allow me to. Is that a particular rule, or is it just cuz the GMs want to have a gigantique list of nicknames used?

Most likley that nickname is beging used, once a nickname is deleted z8 keeps it and you can never use it again For example, My nickname is bob i change it to bobby i cant use bob again.
