Is it socially accepted that crouching in sniping is NOT nooby?

Crouch for me please, less chance of me getting a leg shot.
Actually, it's more, since my zoom sens is really fast, yet it's fixed by chest level, and then i have to drag down, which causes me to do the counter AK drag, and i shoot the leg.
Plus, you used to have 4 head sizes (head + chest+ stomach is almost 4 head lengths) in which it's a kill, now whent hey crouch, it's 1 head size and one leg fail T_T -

Players like Drenner and others are usually criticized for crouch sniping. I really could care less if he or she does or does not. It's an easy way to catch the other players off target. They aim too high for the head, and shoot.
What I do, when I'm actually trying, is crouch a common peek spot [for example : A long push from CT on Black Widow] and when I see a player, I stand, and shoot them. For one, pre-firing usually fails, and they shoot over my head. Secondly, they will aim down for my head after they miss the pre-fire. I then stand, and probably take a hit in the groin area [not really good in real life, you should presume] and kill them.
I usually do this to throw the rushers off, and to get a frag. There's no rule against crouch sniping![:\](https://forum.z8games.com/resources/emoji/confused.png ":\")

If crouch snipers are apparently harder to hit, why not? It's not abusing a bug or glitch in the game, it's not affecting you all that much. And besides, if you make a thread like this you just got ripped by some pubstar who crouchsniped and got you mad.

Gee, so now people are crying about crouching too? Add that to my long list of "Things you can do in CrossFire that is legal but considered nooby."

I never take star off, my swat's HEADSHOT scares me. Star is quieter.

I don't flame with what i don't agree with, i just flame against those that try to flame my points without any reasoning unless provided with some sort of evidence.
So far, your evidence is scant, while some people have pointed out that it is an in game function, so i laid them off and took it to note.
Plus, you need to learn how to use quote button, you missed the first half of the BB text.

I use to all the time, but I don;t anymore, but idrc if people do or not... It's a simple control in the game. reminds of the guy that was calling me a noob because I jumped inbetween shots with my winchester.
