I never analysed it in detail either but I've played enough to know that if your not really good, then don't waste your time in SND or EM especially if your not used to that gameplay mode.

the best experience is were you play better
you can obtain huge exp on all maps depends how good you are :P
also you can give some gp for 30% exp :P
