Creating a Server

Not sure if this is where to Post, very excited about this FPS game, have ran a squad for more than 5 years and am thinking of running a server for Cross-Fire. My web site is [], we are a FPS family squad, I have 3 people signed up to Cross Fire, we do enjoy the freedom of running our own server. Would like some tech support, suggestions and any help that can be offered. If EID becomes interested would love to Link to Z8 Games

You cannot run your own server, crossfire is a licensed game. Though it begs the question of WHY would you want to run a crossfire server, the game is awful compared to what else is on the market, even for free.

I don't know how that should fit to me, I have no interest in creating a metin2 server, and if I were able to, I wouldn't =o

Sorry about the Web Link, did not know the rules, although I do not sell product, I do have a large First Person Shooter squad and many of us are starting to play the game, you may call is awful but a few of us do enjoy it, it is fast paced, exciting and simple. The reason I like to run my own servers is for control. We are a G Rated squad and like to try to keep the language as such when possible. My Wife has already purchased a few things and two of my Children have signed up as well. I know at least 10 of our squad members have gotten accounts since posting in my own forums. Again I do apologies for posting the link, surely not trying to take traffic as my site is coming close to 5,000,000 Hits. If we do get where we love this game I would link to you with you approval.

Anyway, great job on your game, I seen the advertisement on Game Spy, installed and have had a great time.

Another reason for the Server would I would love to have a room with our name on it, our squad would love that

Yea... a room with your name is no problem... just change name of the room =P
A channel/server with your name would be cool... (but only if i can get my own channel for my Clan) xD

I believe that it is not possible?? (correct me if I'm wrong) server for crossfire.

All I would lie is a room in West Coast Servers called Elite Infantry Division, we are not into making money just gaming, the room would be full a lot of the time. Can this be done?

Sorry but no. All servers are public and you can not rent or run a server. You can however feel free to make your own room in one of the channels as much as you'd like.

No offence. Your wife purchased a few things, 10 of ur squad members have gotten accounts, u have a whole community behind u to play CF, u want to host a server for the crossfire etc etc...

You having a bad day Roz? Or most likely Bad Life, someone new comes along and post in a set of forums and you really have to go there? Will get it figured out but if you do not want to reply and or help keep it to your self, was just asking for some help, keep your issue's to your self and take your problems elsewhere, I do not need them, Life is to short, why don't you try to enjoy your self a little, geeze dude this is a game, have some fun why don't you

Roph, do you know "One Man's Junk is Another Man's Treasure"? It's fine you dislike Cross Fire, but I hope you can respect Cross Fire players. This is the game they enjoy play.

Just go to the west coast server, choose a channel then click "New room". A small window will pop up, there you can enter a room name, password and set the room options.

Your room will disappear if there's noone in it, so easiest for you would be to make some arrangements with your squad. (like always the same channel, room name and password) That way they can always find the others without much trouble

Looky look, the BHD players are back. This isn't the type of game that you can host server with, and trying to control a room means that it needs a member of the team always on it. Just make new rooms in-game whenever you guys play, then kick out all the people and turn off the room when your not.

Is BHD dead yet? I haven't played for a few years.

Thanks all for the replies, BHD is still rocking and our server fills up almost everyday to 50 peeps. We have been there since it came out..

A lot of us really do like this game, it is pretty fun and ran very well. Will start making the room like suggested,
