AWM Camo! is it worth it?

Ok so i got the normal AWM and im getting back into it, but iv got like 80 coupons and im thinking about getting the perm Camo AWM..


Iv used it before for a week and really like the extra ammo and sight, but is it really worth the 70 coupons?

no, its like the the normal AWM.
I dont know for what do you need extra ammo for a snipergun? it only looks cool and reloads a bit faster.

The AWM-Camo has the big advantage, that ir's maganice capacity is doubled. No other weapon in CF has such a big advantage. But it's only worth using by AWM rushing.

If your mainly a sniper then for sure go for it.

But i wouldnt, the extra ammo is good for TD but hardly needed in SD games.

Depends on what kind of a sniper you are.


I come from 1.6 (a game in which you could shoot through walls more or less) and I'm a very spammy sniper.


I'll shoot through doors, boxes, just about anything I can. A headshot through a box with a sniper is a kill and its very satisifying to save your team with that one random shot. Having 10 bullets is a huge advantage.

It IS worth it.

But if you don't find yourself in those reload-situations with a guy trying to kill you very often, its not really necessary.

If you don't, go with something fun like the Kriss or just save it.


You could always try it out by renting it for a week.

To me it's a waste of money. If you are a good sniper you wouldn't need extra awm bullets.
If you are a crap sniper why geta awm camo in a 1st place get my drift?

If you are really good at sniping (that meanin being able to own pros) then you could compliment yourself with the awm camo as a signature weapon.
Take in mind there is no special or signature weapon anymore.
Everyone abuses the rare guns by spenidn 1 milloon $ and getitn them all in 10 min.
So you can't stand out unless you are a complete ZP full of S****

If you play alot with your sniper, i promise you will notice a difference. Try playing a sniper only map with the camo. I know i played better with the camo in those games.

As for scrims, maybe not so much. Although i think the reload is slightly faster.

Yeah, I noticed the the Steyr AUG Camo's reload is also faster..

Pubbing in sniper only TD matches you will be able to notice the difference. You will be able to extend streaks with the awm instead of having to hunt people down with your knife.

Yeah, after switching back to the regular awm, it feels like .75 seconds slower.

Like Bruce said, I too shoot through the boxes or try too but I'll need more than 5 ammo to do that because by the time I reload he'll probably be in my face spraying me to death. So 5 more bullets is a huge advantage plus I think the reload time is faster but idk if it's true or if it's just me like the new deagle sound and how I play better with it.

IMO if you want the AWM camo just buy for 90 days or whatever and use your coupons for something you can't get without spending lots of money and show it off. I say go for the PSG Red Dragon, get really good at racking up headshots one after the other durring pubs or whatever you do non competitively, and when you switch to the AWM Camo durring serious matches you will be UNSTOPPABLE.

Don't trust mods or GMs with advice like this, they would say anything to help the profit.
All the other advice is good tho.
Just do what you wanna do, remember it's a game have fun =]

according to the stats comparing in the item shop, the regular awm has more accuracy than the awm camo. even if they are the same, it's not worth 70 freaking coupons omg. that's like 140$ for 5 bullets that you won't use. reload time? doesn't matter. you'll be behind a wall safe anyway.

if ur more of a sniper only person then go for it
but if u use more rifles and smg's then snipers then get the kriss or the M4-c

the Normal awm has 100 accuracy, the AWM camo is off the chart?lmao.

I mean get a Deagle Gold, that would really improve your game physically, the 3extra bullets really do count. Especially if ur a sniper.
