SG552 is overpowered compare to it's real life counter part
and AUG is underpowered.
SG552 actually have the same ROF as AUG,
and AUG have a higher muzzle volocity created by it's longer barrel, and both gun uses the same caliber ammunition. thus AUG should do more damage than the SG552. -
SG552 is better in the long term...
the sg got more power and surprisingly few recoil despite what many people say about its "feel". the aug has less recoil, but its lower power means that it takes alot more shots. However, its less recoil means you can spray a few more shots using the scope than the sg, but at medium and close distance, the sg in the hands of an experienced player is quicker and easier to kill.
the sg's spray pattern is a lot more distributed than the aug's, so if you're looking for a more accurate gun with spray, go with the aug. but, as you get better, you're gonna want a more powerful gun cause you're gonna be a better aimer and faster shooter. I say go with the sg552. -
sg552 is actually the best gun stat based, but it's sound....just ruins it.
AUG is a speciallized headshot gun that can't do anything else, takes practice.
Sg552 has lower stats then the scar light but i think that the aug is the way to go. I'm better with it then anyother gun -
heh, if you want me to show you a video of mine just to show you that the AUG is should be the most respected gun in this game i will, the aug is amazing, anyone who says its not is a complete fool. The gun trains you to be displined and also get headshots likes it is its daily ob, i love the gun to death

SG FTW.I bought this gun and owned ppl.Yea I do get headshots.It has more dmg than Aug.And it reloads faster.Doesn't ppl realise that reloading in a fight can sav ur butt?Yes it is loud.Just becuz it's loud doesn't mean it can own.Dude go for the SG.Also I don't get why they call the SG a noob cannon.If u see some1 wit SG that maybe me.BTW my in game name is Ami468

It varies.
Both are good for headshots from long range.
AUG has incredibly good accuracy.
It's better at long range fights.
SG552 is very good at close range battles.
High damaging bullets.
I like both IMO.
I wish I never sold by AUG when I first started to play CF. Man if I wasn't a noob with it back then I'd be using it now.
