Mastering the M4A1 Guide?
Can someone who's in leagues, or someone that's from LifeLine, Paradox, or LPK (some team like that) make a really complete M4A1 guide? Really thorough and in detail, for a M4A1 user that wants to be the best. All the tips and tricks that are needed for certain modes and maps.
Also, it should NOT before beginners, or people who have just started using the M4. Make it for people who have used the M4A1 for quite a while and wants to be perfect. Separate chapters for the M4A1 Silenced Series (Adv, Silver, Crystal), M4A1 Custom Series (Custom Reg, Custom Crystal), M4A1 Non-silenced Series (Regular, Gold, Seasonal M4s.) Spray patterns, and how to learn/control it should be explained as well

i've used the m4 since february of 2009 and to be honest it doesn't take any sort of "mastering" per say. bursting, mainly for the head is the key to the gun at any range. How many bullets is up to you. Personally I've always bursted with 2 bullets when aiming for the head and 3-4 at the body, i try to do 5 round bursts from time to time but between strafing poorly, getting hit, and any other random things the recoil somtimes sets in and all 5 bullets aren't accurate.
The spray is "T" shaped after about 6-7 bullets it goes upward then 3-4 more it begins to either sway left or right giving you that "T" Shape. Sometimes it will only swing 1 way, sometimes it will swing 1 way and then ALL the way back the other way. It is annoyingly random and frustrating unlike the AK's much easier pattern. I'd highly recommend avoiding spraying whenever possible, although everyone knows there ARE situations that call for it sometimes, when this occurs keep an eye on what side of the "T" the pattern is forming and swing your crosshair opposite of that, also watching the height so you're hopefully spraying for headshots, making it much easier to kill.
That's all there really is to the m4, keep in mind i ONLY use the regular m4, i dislike the recoils of the silenced versions so i have no say in how they work.
PS- strafing is really the key to any gun in the game, especially a longrange headshot machine like the m4. Mastering a perfect strafe so your bullets are always pinpoint in your burst is key to getting kills easily. -

here's an easy tip that i'll give you (preferably with a silenced m4)
eagle eyes hotel...side window, burst the body up to head...aim for the sniper off at the box near their base..never spray unless super close..pretty much burst high neckish chest and let the recoil of it do it's work :P -
The two of you are most likely going to receive infractions for all the trolling that you're doing. I just want to get better with my M4. Please, take you fight somewhere else, and thanks Oz I'll try to take your advice. Also, can you tell me how to perfect a strafe? I just go side to side and I wanna know if there's more in depth to strafeing than that.

For my M4-S, I usually do 3-4 burst shots, and when, lets say, Im directly behind someone, Ill just go for the HS, or, if theyre using a SPOP Ill just spray the hell out of their body.
The M4-C and M4-S react in VERY different ways. I prefer the Silver, or Adv, because of the viewing. Also, their recoil is much nicer.
As to strafing, I just pop and or jump out, prefire alot, and when Im out in the open, I hit "a" and "d" to just ooze.

OT// I am a pretty crappy m4 user since my aim is horrible. I think its the best gun in this game if you have insane aim tbh, but you need to be a really good headshotter , which I am certainly not. Just burst or tap, don't spray and get your strafes perfectly and this gun is insane.... If you can't hs very well maybe aim for chest and a 3-4 bullet burst can do the trick.
btw: why are you not talking about kive / dellz / hasch. They are as good if not better than anyone in the big NA teams >.>
