secondo, no body is arguing against the fact they have the same hitboxes, it's not prove-able.
people are just saying there is a clear advantage as to have spop as character models and the reasons have been stated quite a lot.

I play GM quite a bit. I used to scrim all the time with SuPClan.com against SPOP characters. Even using an M16 I could easily hit them.

The intent of spop wasnt to give people a smaller hit box it was for people to show to the community that they donated to the game to keep it running so that all you noobs can keep whinning saying boohoo i want zombies i want ctf i want more weapons. getting really tired of all these 11 yr olds saying ohh you guys are fat low lifes who live in your parents basement because you pay for a free game >.> we are the reason that you get to play this game.

well look at it this way... its noteven about whether yu wanna be a girl or not. for me personally i think that the girl looks a lot cooler than the other characters and i wanna be unique that way whenever i join a game i don't have to look just like every other character in that game. Another thing about movement speed and stuff is that, it depends on the weapons yu carry since some weapons are heavier than others for instance the awm, if yu move a lot slower i hope yu do notice that. so it has nothing to do wiht the spop character itself. Everything that you carry makes a different on yur movement speed

Who? I have never ever heard of them before. Not to mention if you think that is the only reason people would pick an SPOP you sir fail. Lets say you peak a corner, because of the smaller model the other player will not see as much of the character as if you peaked with a regular character model.
Considering the fact Kilou and I have spent more time peaking angles I am going to go out on a limb here and say we are right. -
With that, sure. Is it worth it for normal players to spend ZP on it? Probably not. Only pro's like you guys would use em. This thread is useless.
People want to spend money, they'll spend money.
SPOP is just useless. I don't like them in any way. They look out of place in this game.
Yes, the MODEL is smaller, but the hitboxes are the same. This is common knowledge to any player with more than a month of experience. A thread is not necessary. -
I never had any problems killing SPOP characters. But I have a trick...
I always aim for the head. You can be thin, fat, guy, girl, but the head is probably the same size. And my opinion about SPOP characters is that it's easier to hit because if ppl played this game for a long time now, they would easilly see a SPOP character because it stands out in the game. So yeh I usually even say to my clan members not to use that character in scrims so we can actually have a little advantage if we play against clans with that character.
We will just wait for the EU servers and check how really good are we. Because playing with 160 ping is kinda fail against ppl with like 15 lol.
But in long range they have a bit of advantage indeed.
Oh and I think the armor idea was just one of the most stupid things I have ever saw in a FPS game. The GM's should keep the game equally for the ppl that spend money on ZP and for the ones who don't spend. Cuz making armors is just wrong. Let they spend ZP in stupid nades or stupid hats. But don't give them that much of an advantage since it will ruin the game easilly.
Oh and could some1 please confirm me if a person payed for ZP they are considered "premium" and so they don't get banned if they cheat? Cuz I heard that alot lately. Would like to confirm it. PM it to me please. -

SPOP have the same the hitboxes but the sprite is smaller so it's easier to hide, thats another of the reasons people use it. -
i think the thing is those who buy spop have more comitment to game and probably zp weaps
with more comiment comes more play time and usually meaning more skill
its not that spop is better in anyway but usually the players who are playing them ae better.
they also usually have bonuses like helmets etc

Plus I´m somehow afraid of them, ´cause I THINK (I no its not true) they have smaller hitboxes...

I don´t get it. Everyone should decide weither or not he/she would like to use a spop or not.
Since there is no real disadvantage to non-spop players (other than visibility) it is all cool isn´t it?
It is not at all understandable if one gets called a ZP-***** or the like just because a SPOP character is used..
I think it is good that there are female and male playermodels available...just that you need to PAY to use a female one...makes me think..(ok i wont start this)
Just play the game, get better, or don´t....or don´t play at all.. aaargh... -
i didnt make this thread to prove people wrong really, well kinda yea, i was tired of getting flamed for saying spop has same size hitboxes and same speed. but for the most part i made this thread for the people who were going to buy spop because they THOUGHT it had a smaller hitbox and/or was faster. only reason...i gave up...
