Clown-'s overall game guide!

Hello guys,
i wrote a guide to help people in Crossfire, i think this applies to te 'n00bs' but also the decent players out there.

This guide covers:
- Setting up your mouse and sensitivity
- 3 guns (the m4a1, the ak47 and the AWM) with links to good guides for them!
- Logic thinking and smart moves in crossfire
- Basic messaging your team

All complete with screenshots that can help you.
Since the forums did bad with showing my guide ("GUI" didn't work)
I made it into a .doc file.

iv just read the guide. its not bad but tend to be hurted by the: thats obvious factor. (probably the hardest part about making a guide.) as a part in the guide you said that most peoples know the trics but dont use them. thats what the guide is for, teaching the trics. experience is for using them. as of the guide, its suprisingly short for a 4 mb file. you went over a lots of details, but never went specific about them, thats where the guide is lacking the most. you seem to have spend a lots of time on this guide, so improving those flaws should not be too hard.

About two hours or so, i had to redo some parts because i messed up due to late night writing

dont rewrite!

just add to it, it will save you so much time, specialy since was missing in the guide is being specific. you already got a great base, and thats where you should work around.
personaly, when i make a guide, i make a list of what need to be added, pretty much a big brainstorm. then review it to make sure nothing repeat or should simply not be there. then i start writhing. don't be afraid of the wall of texts for now, it simply what you need, big fat paragraphes. then come structuring, gramair, and all the boring stuff. i usealy don't add too many images, but thats just me being lazy, you can never have too many of them.

Link that, most people mouse glitch in CF. Some just notice it more then others...

Also Denxi's are are must as well.

Just one short note that maybe an admin can fix, the post can't be edited...
Maybe making reposts is an option, or either start a new topic when my little CF bible is completely finished in all it's glory.

I already did the brainstorming thing when i was figuring what the guide would be about, the best i came up with were those points. After that it was just writing but im used to writing and reading walls of text now.
Images for me were my idea of making a guide more clear, just using a 'two are better then one' situation in my head. Ofcourse, if someone looks upon my work with a fresh look they will most likely think differently, but that's why improving the guide is the thing to do for me now.

Things that i'd like to add so far:

- Fix for shaky or wobbly mouses

- I am currently working on my guide to being more clear to (beginner) players, and adding (extra) text, examples, things and threads. thanks to darkname2!

Simply because the guide is way more clear when opening the file in word, i made it into a .doc file so even users on a Windows 98 PC can read it, posting it here messes up the Graphic User Interface or GUI, which should make the guide clearly to those who read this.

On the other hand, it IS indeed a big file, 4mb can take some to download, Posting it on a third party website could be possible but that can be seen as 'advertising' to... And i would have to look for websites, have to convert mine into an (X)HTML file because word doesnt do that very well...

Websites are also differently displayed on browsers, where i am using Mozilla Firefox and it works perfectly fine, others whom are viewing this from Internet Explorer (6.0, 7.0,8.0) can experience this as bad.

Which leads me to the point where we started, 99% of the guides, which i doubt but that doesn't matter right now, are posted on the website. This guide however, is NOT.

Added. Denxi's guides are useful and professional-looking, but I couldn't fit them to this guide really, I am thinking of another chapter 'Moving in a 3D space' which in I will talk about that luckely for us there is virtually no dept while shooting, the basic moves, strafing, b-hop's, boosting etc. Since im not there yet a.t.m. I won't add any guides of Denxi. I hope this answers your question.
