Problem: nProtect Gameguard !
Im just having a problem nProtect gameguard !
YEsterday, i was able to play crossfire.
I've played VF everyday, it worked fine but now it didn't
But when i turn on compter again and try to play it
I received this error:

( it said : nProtect Game Monitor Rev 1315 has stopped working )
I've tried turn of firewall + security software ( KAS ) or even add Cross in Trusted zone !
I re-installied it
But it still happens again.
Can someone please help me ? I really like this game !

I did, but i didn't work either !try this: delete (or better move somewhere on your hdd) the folder GAMEGUARD
next time when the game starts, the gameguard will be re-downloaded
if this doesn't work, try a full re-install of crossfire.Reinstalling myself. I hope it works, since it's almost done haha.

i think your real problem is windows vista... somehow, he block your game/gameguard

Download that and try to run it then reboot and try to get on crossfire as far as your reinstalling Could you give me a Screenshot of what that access code shows -

gameguard stops hacks of course its not doing to tell at the moment

i have this same problem with some other games the only way i know how to remove this is to restart your computer
i think something gets messed up with the installer when its downloading thats why it shows this best idea is to redownload it again
id say remove everythin of cf from your computer restart your computer then redownload it -
hello. i have o problem too.....when i start the game, a small windows appear and redirect me to a web page with this message : Initialization fail (Error code 114)

It might but you shouldn't have to just click OK it brings up internet close it then reload cf should work fine
hehe if Slegion's idea dont work then be kwl like me and Slegion get AVG 8D haha ye but ive seen on lots of games that kes anti-virus doesnt seem to let some games run at times kinda stupid
and dam Slegion me and you are burnin up the tech forums right now with help XD mostly you though hehe -

Yeah , Well i hope to become the Tech Support Guy and have ACP Admin Control Panel and work on the forums. I rather do this then GM In game idk lol just me with forums are like heaven i also do web design. and i know alot about this Tech Support
hehe id love to be a in game GM help reduce the number of hackers they do indeed annoye me and i dont usualy post in forums unless its to help people with things but usualy some has a solution so there is no point in posting but suppose for cf there isnt any harm in putting another possible solution up hehe -

Well I had same probelem too. Kaspersky cousing the problem. 2 days ago kaspersky getted an update and after that I had same nguard eror1315. Only way to fix it uninstall kaspesky. I wrote to kaspersky lab about that problem. They gonna fix it... In that time if u want to play u need to uninstall it. -
Actually it looks like windows 7... Is that what you have?
lol if you know how to use windows 7 then CF will run i seen people playing CF on windows 7
you gotta remove that rubbish KAS seriusly its not worth the effort lol GET AVG tis the best 8D

Change all the EXE files in the crossfire folder to Windows XP compatibility and it should work fine...
If you have Vista you could try this too...
