disconnected due incorrect map info

Um yeah what do I do I uninstall the game and redownload the install and I get the same message over and over I don't know how to fix I'm on Vista home basic the game used to work fine about 3 months ago now I get "disconnected due incorrect map info" about 5 mins into a game

First uninstall. next delete any folders of crossfire that you have
(downloads page, documents,program files everywhere)
Also delete any programs you dont use anymore.
Now restart your computer.
Next download the newest version of crossfire.
Install. Patch it. And it should work.
If that doesent then check your internet connection.

I've deleted all the files and clean and system restored my computer It gives me the samething

If that happens then follow these steps!
Start

>Control Panel

---

>Windows Firewall

---

>Click "Exceptions" then "Add Port" and Add this number : 13000 and when you do that
Add this number: 60000 and it should work

If not check your routers settings.
P.S. You will get Disconnected if you have windows Vista 34.Bit

My firewall is off but I do have Vista 32 bit is that the prob?

Did you download the newest version?
If you have AVG or any other virus protecting programs disable them until you finish playing.
