This is my first post and i dont want any Hate comments and or posts.

Ok,Basically i want to learn about the Recoil,Hit Ratio, and all that stuff.:)
_______________________________________________________________
What i like about each one:
Awm: I like the AWM beacause It's a easy No/Quick scope and It's fairly easy to Hit across a map.:D
_______________________________________________________________
DSR-1: Same thing as the AWM it's easy No-scopeing the Mid-range is easy to control,But the Quickscopes aren't as great
_______________________________________________________________
So tell me,Which one is best For You?
Add Your reasons,topics,Etc.
Thx!

I like the DSR-1 better because you can stay scoped in on your target. Also, its one medium-range scope is easier to use than having to switch between the two scopes on the AWM. They both do the same damage and I think their reloads take almost the same amount of time. The AWM is nice because of its faster quickscope, but overall I would choose the DSR-1 over the AWM anyday. Back when I was getting my Class B sniper badge, I got the 3,000 kills for it in a week using the DSR-1, and I managed to keep a 2.0+ K/D through it all. That gun pwns!

O.o wth...
awm is more accurate.
I like awm better cuz there is this ****ty delay with the dsr when you are trying to zoom out.
Awm
You get 2 zooms with awm.(+ accuacy)
Much ezier to quick/ drag (you see more on first scope) (+mobility)
Does more dmg (High 80 ish on legs with awm. High 70ish with dsr.)
(100 hs though box with awm. sometimes 90 ish with dsr) (+power)
Dsr
Better at no scope (i can see where "better" accuacy comes from)
Semi-Auto (can be ezier for some people>> more useful in TDM than SnD)
DSR costs more and requires higher rank. -
choose between kriss/mp5 and ak47/m4a1
if you choose kriss/mp5 you will like the dsr
if you choose ak47/m4a1 then get the awm
I don't get how that work's. I'm guessing if you think they're a sprayer choose the DSR and if you have aim get AWM? -
Awm
Hi!
Well in my experience, i have an AWM and works better that any sniper weapon, i steal sometimes DSR's of the ground, but isn't the same...
The important here is that you have skills in the sniper tricks and handle...
I hope you'll do a nice choice and keep a k/d+

Yeah, no. It doesn't work like that. I am mostly in love with the DSR (though I have my experience with the AWM, and it's nice), but I clearly love the AK more then the kriss. Snipers are about raw power and accuracy, it doesn't matter which particular sniper you are using.
As more people have said, the DSR is mostly a mass murderer. If you are a decent sniper, you can use it to clean out the opponents positions with ease. With the AWM, this just takes more time. And who cares about how long you have to reload with a sniper? You'll have to be taking cover then anyway, and hope your team keeps the opponent away from you.
The things about the AWM that annoyed me at first were that you need to click twice to zoom out (yeah, I know, it's silly), and that the best time to overlook the battlefield is right after you shot. That's the fastest way to scope out. Further, I found myself using the second scope mode very little, as it takes to long to come into when you have to fire quickly, and it is not at all usefull to stay in. You get too tunnelvisioned, and there is practically no place in the game where that can't be abused.
The above makes perfect sense if you know I like the DSR better. I enjoy scoping in for a shot, see if I can actually make it, and scope out quickly again in search for another. If a second target is close, I like to go for it immediately... and not scope out because "it works that way". In my opinion, the AWM forces the way you are in and out scope, while with the DSR you are in full control of when and where you are in scope.
The speed of the DSR is nice too, though in any 1v1 sniper fight you'll notice that it is of very little use. Against a good sniper, the first shot is for the kill anyway. If you see a DSR player "spray", it means you are leaving him alive. -
I have owned the AWM, AWM-Camo, & DSR-1. There are perks to each the DSR and AWM.
I love the semi auto feature on the DSR-1 and have really made progress in my sniping skills since the purchase. However on the other hand, as far as shooting while in motion, the AWM seems to be slightly more stable when it comes to accuracy. Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but while weaving back n forth with the AWM you can keep accuracy almost the same as standing still. The DSR-1 tends to have random wild shots while in motion.
DSR-1 is still my choice though. -

i like the blot action, it takes the same time to fire as the dsr, but you get a look at your surroundings whilst working the bolt action, which haas made me notice other people trying to kill me, and saved my numerous times
not true, the AWM doesn't shoot just as fast as the DSR-1 it shoots slower because its a bolt action sniper rifle, DSR-1 is semi auto. -

Definately have noticed this. This is where AWM's have an edge. -
no scoping is all about luck so dont call that skillmafiashots wrote: »Ya but no scoping is fun and shows that you got skills as a sniper.
dsr-1 is not semi auto as shown heremafiashots wrote: »not true, the AWM doesn't shoot just as fast as the DSR-1 it shoots slower because its a bolt action sniper rifle, DSR-1 is semi auto.
