failed to connect with host

hye , always when i start to play a game , it will work for a few seconds and then it lags and i go back to the lobby automaticly and there comes : failed to connect with host
somebody knows what this problem means?

The message means that your computer has failed to connect to the appropriate crossfire server. There could be many reasons for this:

1. Are you using a router? If so, allow all connections through the crossfire ports (they are listed on these forums somewhere ) to your router.
2. There may be programs interfering with your connection! Configure any Anti-virus/firewalls that you may have so that they allow crossfire and its similar ports/programs to run without interruption.
3. Go to start >> Run >> type: "msconfig" >> go to the services tab >> close down the non-microsoft services >> Run crossfire after configurations.
