Ping Problems and Lag!!!

About a week ago I went from 50-70FPS down too 5-14fps, I can start a round and its fine for the first minute and then after that boom framerate drops, I have read some posts about this with people claiming that it is the person's video card, well that isn't always true because this is the only MMOFPS game that I am having this trouble with, I am also a computer repairman and builder so I know about the video card thing. My internet connection is the same now as it was when I started playing back in May of this year. I have also tried the piece of junk gamebooster program with no results, in fact after my installation and execution of gamebooster I had to do a full clean reinstall of crossfire because of the gamebooster. Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this besides what I have listed? I am almost ready to just give up on this game and stick with CA or SA maybe even WT. So if anyone has any constructive advice besides ranting and raving over what a person thinks of a program or whatever I would be glad to hear it, preferably from a GM or someone in a higher authority that can look at this problem from server side.
