Which of the M4's is the best, not counting the cost or the duration?

- Simple M4A1


- Custom M4A1 with scope and silencer


- Camo M4A1 Adv with silencer


- Golden M4A1



As you can see the stats are all the same, but people claim each one is different. So I would like to hear your experiences too...
I am mostly interested on the Accuracy, Power and Recoil factors.
The clip size is not something that interests me...

I think the M4-c is the best. It has a different spaying pattern than the other version, has a bit more power ( for a closerange kill are 3 shots in the chest needed), and the scope bumbs up the accuray.

The M4C is the best out of those. Very accurate.

Custom is weak and recoil is terrible.

I haven't played with golden but I have three of the others. From playing around with each this is what I feel is the difference, though, it could just be psychological. Also I've never full tilt tested them on each body part at ranges, just playing with a few weeks of each in games.

I'm comparing the custom and advanced to the stock M4A1 -

Custom -

• - Cost more $$$$$
• - More recoil
• - Less power
• + Scope
• + Silencer

Advanced -

• - Cost more $
• - More recoil (more than custom)
• - Less power (less than custom)
• - Less ROF
• + Silencer
• + Looks good~.~

Also I don't know if this is a factor incorporated into the game but the advanced seems to have petty stopping power.

Imo I prefer the stock. But as I said it hasn't been properly tested and if someone decided to it would be great. These are just assumptions based on playing with them for no more than 14 days, use it as info rather than results. Also by less and more there isn't a large gap really. I'm sure people will have varying opinions from playing with them.

Custom simply because SCOPE some people consider m4a1 advanced best because of silencer. But custom has silencer too. So M4C all the way. Good for long range, Good for close range it can do anything. M4 Golden is just like REGULAR M4 its body color is different.

because the scope and the silencer the m4a1 custom is deadly in long range and close. when ur fairly clost to some one and shooting them, they dont even where the chots r comming from because of the silencer. the scope is dead accurate at long distance too... and the m4a1 custom also has a fast fireing rate.. i have custom ..regular m4.. and camo.. i dont have gold & i think the gold is the same as the regular..

They're all differently good..if that makes sense.

M4 regular, the most basic, is very consistent. Quick, accurate at both long medium and close.

M4-ADV feels to me a bit slower but more accurate. The spray pattern throws me off and I find that the pierce (shots through boxes) are not as good. The silencer helps with concealing your location.

M4-C also has a silencer which is very useful. This is a better crouch gun, as the first 5-6 bullets while crouched go very straight. Bad spray pattern, so I burst.

m4-G i don't have :X

I use the m4 custom for pubs and noob scrims but when I go try hard status I use the m4 regular.

from my use with the m4a1 c it is a hs machine, i alwyas get hs with it

custom is the best,then gold(cuz of ammo) , then adv(cuz of reload time). thats how I think. custom got scope and for me its better accuracy.so i got it, use it and i am happy. i don t care about the others^^

The m4-C is a tad harder to control than the regular.

I do much better with adv than custom, I just like the feel of it and seriously, you can live without a scope.

As far as I'm aware m4-g is exactly the same as regular.

Everyone loves the regular - a good basic m4 without any of the fiddly bits.

stats are not the best thing to go by



ak says 96 damage awm says 100, meaning it would be sometimes a 1 hit k0 with ak on upper body, but its mainly based on personal expierence, custom would be most accurate in my opinion
