why wont you admit theres a problem GM's
I and many other people have had major ping problems since the update on the 10th October, and you fail to address this and what little response is given is that "It's your problem"
I'm sorry but if 100s of people get the same problem from 1 update, its not "my" problem.. something from the patch messed up something.
Before the patch then i was running at 130 ping, now im running 190 ping (only on off-peak times) I cant even play on peak times anymore because my ping goes to 300+ whereas before it stayed at 130.
These are my ping tests which show that my ping should be roughly 130 playing on the servers which are Canadian.
I have done many things to improve my computer and still nothing has happened on Crossfire, however i play fine on other games.
So, my question is.. why wont you admit that the patch on 10th October caused problems for many people, and what will you do to try to sort it out?

well see one problem is there is hundreds of us whos pings our better
since i went from 77 to a 55 -
you would have to contact your isp and discuss with them the routing used to connect to our servers. Unless we move the servers (which to my knowledge we have not), the routing you use could cause your ping to increase dramatically.
Long story short, post both your isp and your location and we can troubleshoot from there. -
Why does everyone post suck attack-like thread titles. We answer tons of questions and address a ton of issues every day both good and bad.
We're not admitting there is a problem because we haven't done anything to the severs.
That's not to suggestion we aren't listening. We're sorry we have addressed this issue to the people yet, but beyond a "we're looking in to it", we have no further information for this issue.
Every time we patch we see spikes in pings, lags etc. We tweak servers accordingly and things smooth out. Some people aren't even affected by this. Just be patient, we will sort everything out as time moves forward. -
Wow. calm down and it does happen lol.. i don't get consent problems but i do get quite a lot of ping spikes lately and no I'm not alone in it clan mates, real life friend s and so on have the same issue, and no... not my gaming laptop.. and no not my high speed best available internet in Canada... and no not my brand new wireless n router (tried straight fro modem wired to even though its slower) :P i gave up on asking about that problem a while ago though cuz u normally get shot down by GM's saying it does exist like area 51 or something -.- and that servers are fine:P even though u don't have to touch them for them to get glitchy at times + more people play cf every day witch ='s to it begin more crowded and glitchy/laggy until expanded:P
If people noticed, Its mostly at night time ping spikes happen... like 99%.. there for supporting the thought that servers get a lil to crowded :P -

I know i've heard some people say they have got better ping but 90% of those i've heard have already got good ping that gets better, but theres alot of people who like me have average ping but its getting worse and worse.[MOD]Delaco wrote: »you would have to contact your isp and discuss with them the routing used to connect to our servers. I live in England and my ISP is Orange (not the best i know) i phoned them up earlier today asking if there was any problems with my internet because i said it was running slow etc. and they said there was no problems. I played CF for 1 and half months on 130 ping, then that patch instantly boosted it to 190 on off-peak times and unplayable peak times (when most of my friends are on)[GM]Saidin wrote: »Why does everyone post suck attack-like thread titles. Sorry about the title, but sometimes its seems to be the only way to get the attention of GM's. It's a pain playing with 190 ping, you hit people but you do no damage and then your dead. I cant even make the most of the ZP i bought because theres so little amount of time i can play with 190 ping before too many people get online and it zaps up to 250/350+ making it impossible to play. -

Thanks for the attention at last. I'm one of the many people (and friends) that suffer the "ping" spike problem and it is checked that the issue is not in my internet connection. For me the game has become completly unplayable with the ping spikes. I'll stop playing as many others have until this is fixed. Not crying or anything, just mentioning. Good luck with the game support. -
Problem is for those who purchase ZP, first, 90% of items purchased with ZP is valid and how we take these items with high ping? as we go have fun, get on the rank, shows how we play with this problem that is affecting so many players? I think who you should prioritizing PING. I would like to once again have a taste for this game as I had before!
Excuse my bad English! -

It is not their problem, when the servers are now farther away, not working, ect.
They do there best, so just wait.
they really do not have to worry about my internet, where the problem is not guaranteed!
the problem is rather in z8games, now if you want your friends protects GM's of this game first look at the problems of all the players, because nois give life to this game, without nóis they are NOTHING! we pay in this game and who pays deserves a decent game with PING fixed and not a ping 300/400/500/600/1000/2000 this is called immoral! just so much waiting, patience is over! -

Why do I only see this guy complaining all the time? -
Honestly, ping is the last of their problems they need to worry about. There are other versions of Crossfire available if the North American version is too laggy (why I'm thinking of also getting CF Vietnam as I'm Australian) and it costs money to buy a server in a country. So... pay them money so they can buy international servers. Also I wouldn't mind on the server lists the servers say where they are located.

Askyour internet provider if they have changed there routing somewhere in october. Thats all i can think of...
1) I phoned my ISP up no problems/changes.
2) Hundreds of people have this problem so i doubt all ISP's would have done changes. -
