[The Forumer Awards] Debut Thread

Hello guys! I’ve noticed that it is, after all, the end of the year! To celebrate, other than celebrating the traditional Christmas and New Years, I have done something somewhat similar to the “People’s Choice Event”. Though I am not the original, I hope and plan to be the main and ongoing one. Currently, many of you know me as Hi. I have gone as SirHi, or HiTenKaey, but my in game name is Hi, forum name HiTenKaey. I believe that the community should be further increased and pushed to the top, mentally, physically, and as a united group or family. I want to hear your though. Your two cents on the situation, who’s your favourite forumer? Here’s some insight on the Forumer Awards.

The format of the Forumer awards are as follows:
  • I, HiTenKaey, will go around on media sites, such as mIRC, XFire, and PMs in game, and will ask moderators, GMs, and somewhat known players who their top TWO candidates are. I only need 10 candidates, so I will eliminate some others based on their activity, and if they are the rules that will be stated.
  • The 10 candidates [or less if there are not many candidates to be chosen] will be chosen by me, and a few others that I will talk with, who probably who’s names will remain undisclosed. I will choose 10 that we think deserves the award, and again, abides by the rules that will be stated.
  • I will ask a moderator or GM of Z8Games forums [preferably one that I can talk with on a Voice to IP program or over a chat program called XFire] to make a thread with a Poll [for more information, you can view my Ultimate Forumers Guide here]
  • You, the forumers, will vote on your favourite candidate.
  • The winner will be announced later in the week, preferably Christmas day, or until the next week.

The rules of the Forumer Awards are as follows:
  • You, as the forumer, obviously can only vote once, making alts and voting is prohibited. You MUST post in the thread saying who you voted for, we will compare the poster’s numbers to the voting poll numbers, and if there is a higher amount of votes than posts for the player, that amount will be reduced. We will post reminders on the threads, so don’t waste time to make alt accounts.
  • You cannot, in anyway manipulate your post to change your vote. If it says “Edited on:” it will be disregarded. Though, you can change your post until 5 minutes after, editing it after or getting a moderator to edit, will be disregarded.
  • If a moderator tells me or a GM that you have been asking them to vote, and you are put into a vote for that category, you will be eliminated.
  • A candidate must have at least 300 posts or 3 months of experience in able to qualify. Of course, moderators and GMs are not judged on post count or months, and all moderators and GMs qualify [pertaining to Cross Fire]
  • Because there are many test GM accounts, there will only be the top 10 posting GMs.
  • Alls candidates must be posters in the Cross Fire section of the forum, sorry, but Metin farmers cannot be in the awards.

  • This is a forumer-run event, with the support of some moderators. I am not a representative of Z8Games, and my opinions are not theirs.

  • Biggest / Most Important Thread of the Year
  • Best Patch of the Year
  • Hottest Forumer
  • Cutest Couple of Forumers
  • Biggest Moment of the Year
Prizes:
  • I will be updating you guys, currently trying to get some codes from people who want to donate.
  • I will be making avatars to the top 3 candidates. Signatures and Avatars for players who can have them
