Crossfire crashes after games.

Here is a picture of what I get when a game ends.



The screen goes black, and I'm able to see names (partially), and then a few seconds after this. The game just spontaneously closes and I'm left sitting here like O.o

This has only started happening since the Halloween patch. Do you guys already know about this issue or is it me O.o

Oh and every time this happens, i try to restart CF and get an error. Then this comes up:



After that, it takes me to the NProtect website. This is really stupid.

I can play 1 game, it crashes and if I want to play another I have to restart my computer.

Did u tryed reinstalling your crossfire?
In another folder?

Now why would I do that when it's perfectly fine prior to the Halloween patch.

It shows that the Gameguard archives are corrupt/not found, thats why I recommend you to reinstall.

Uh no it doesn't. It's trying to find ERL files to try and determine the error. When i try to send this i have to Ctrl+Alt+Del and end task on it. Cause it freezes up.

I'll let you guys know if anything's changed after a re-install. If it's still doing it every game. Theres really something wrong. Oh and on a side note. Hurry up with the UK server. This is the only thing that'll please alot of players at the minute :P

Hi,

Yes we are definitely aware of this (most of us experienced that problem when we were playing earlier! )

We will issuing a mini patch which should fix the black market stuff and the deagle repair problem.

This has been reported too and we'll be looking to get a fix for it asap.

Cheers Saidin , i didn't notice any reports other than 1 thread mention it, so i thought i'd screeny. Would be nice if you could cram this fix into the minipatch tomorrow. Thanks.

Since this is a rather critical bug it will be fixed quite soon I'm sure!

I hope so. I've just unistalled the damn thing too. Re downloading it. Wish I hadn't have now.
