Crossfire Mini Mall Map Elimination and TDM
This could be a good map if done right. A small mall about 15 stores or so, 6 of which would be open (on both sides) which would serve as spawn points in TDM and weapons cash on EM. 2 floors, 2 stores open on the first floor, 1 store open in the 2nd floor. 2nd floor would contain a handful of sniper rifles and the bottom floor would contain the smg's and assult rifles. It being a newer map would have somewhat newer weapons and maybe a test weapon?
Lots of kiosks and corners to hide by. Open elevator on each side, left side the elevator would be on the second floor, and the bottom floor on the right side. Non-functional but able to get in for cover.
On the bottom floor, the 2 open stores would be connected from the outside and also from the inside as a section of the wall was blown up which creates the walk way.
Not really a complicated map but straight forward like palace and egypt but with a little more elbow room.

Close combat can be implemented onto any map no matter the size with the right layout and structure. (i.e. smaller rooms, corridors, obstructions.)
The mall idea sounds awesome too. One map id like to see for TD and especially Sniper matches, is kinda a similar layout to Temple Ruins map with the down graded hill and trenches with obstructions. Only make the map 2 sided like that & maybe have it running downhill to the middle then back up.
Jus' a thought .. I do like your idea though

Mmmm I Don't really like spread maps, unless they have plenty of places to camp/Hide camping is kind of nooby but pfft everything is considered noob these days and it's more of a tactic more than a noob move. But anyways yeah a spread map with camping spots etc. EM Or Tdm Or Maybe even SnD even though we have a million SnD Maps.....

Camping is both a noobish and a tactical move.
Noob camp :
- Camping in TD (except in one of the "tactical" cases e.g. you're low/sniping etc.)
- Camping as BL in S&D
- Camping as GR when bomb is planted
- Camping for a very long time
- Camping when you outnumber the enemy (especially if there is only one left)
- Camping when you're low on HP
- Camping just when you hear someone coming
- Camping when you defend a bombing site (as BL if bomb is planted or GR if it isn't yet)
- Camping when you're outnumbered (especially if you're alone)
- Sniping (yes, some people consider that camping, I think they expect snipers to run everywhere...)
As for the mall map idea, mall settings are always interesting, they can make for very good looking textures, have a lot of possibilities (even without any shop opened), and can make very small or very large maps.
In your case though, I find your map a little too large for a TD. 4 floors (+ 1 or 2 unreachable to add some height for the nades) would be more than enough IMO. -

Forgot to add that these are "tactical" camps -
Yeah the mall would be a bit squarish but with all the construction, you can't really tell unless you are walking along the walls or on the second floor. If this game was a bit more complex, I would have mentioned a underground parking lot that is connected to both sides. Cars and Hemi's and what not for cover along with a few crates. Fun stuff but I dont know if crossfire could make a 3 layer map.

That could work.. and maybe have the bottom floor be lava or something so knifers cant go to the spawns and hackers cant stick themselves in a wall from the spawn.. or at least as easy. Alot of work would have to be done with that and all. Would take a while for that map to come out. -
Keep these supports coming lol. Maybe some GM might see this thread. I really would like to see this map on crossfire. Have a relatable map instead of war zones and deserts and all these rather, disclosed places. Make it seem like the action is everywhere and anywhere.

This map would be really fun to play on. Not really complex and who knows... Maybe there could be a ghost mode map made for it too :P. Air vents and ceilings. Major modifications to do that tho.... It would still be a very simple yet great map for TDM and Elimination.

Yeah.. Too bad these guys have their minds made up tho... Hopefully some future map might be like what I suggest... Kinda tired playing in obvious battlefield places... These guys are mercenaries, not the army... There should be more neighbourhood maps n such. Cairo and downtown are pretty good showing that the battles are taking place in every area.. Just hope more of those types of maps are gonna come in soon.

Thanks for the support and what-not.. I would come up with a tactical map or some type of design to have ppl see what I explain but I'm not good at that I dont have the program or training to do that nor do I have the pacience to do it either. I still think this map would be easy to make and that it would be a awesome map for crossfire.

Also, yes camping is a legitimate strategy and yes, despite what people think I do read the suggestions whenever I can.
Glad to know that GM's and z8games staff read these suggestions.. Even tho it might never come through, it's at least good to know that what I wrote was neglected and not seen.. -

, developers really put out the maps we do have some influence in what goes in and out of the game but its very rare that we can get them to create new content for us. Also I'm not allowed to talk about what is in the next patches so its hard for me to comment 
There is something higher on our priority list at the moment. But I'm sorry you feel this way. I do note interesting suggestions to bring up to meetings though and we discuss the feasibility of each idea.
