X-trap 504 error (CODE_FIELD [08-0400-00000000-504])

CF gets shot down by X-trap when it tries to launch. (generating the error in the title)
The game was running fine for months - the problem turned up on the 4th(?) of December.

I am running W7x64 as Admin.
I re-installed according to the instructions
I switched off Avira, Threatfire, any other process I could think of...

One observation: When I do a new install one of the patches fails. When I restart the program the remaining patches are applied. Don't know if this means something

So, how do I fix the problem?
A ticket for technical support is useless - they just send me to the forum without even commenting on the problem.
I am ok with bugs when it is a free game, but once I decided to pay something I expect a useable program.

Have not got a reply from a MOD/GM or anyone who knows what they are talking about on anything about this error. Haven't been able to play for a week....

I wrote through this form twice and posted my problem in the forum. No solutions to my problem (X-trap generates a 504 error (CODE_FIELD [08-0400-00000000-504])).
If your company is unable to fix this I kindly ask you to refund my money.

Your frustration is evident, but this is not an issue with the game. I personally understand the height of this issue and can assure you it's not the game. There's a handful of users in the community experiencing the same issue and Xtrap has stated they aware of it via. personal Xtrap tickets. The only thing we can do is remain patient. We DO HOPE the issue is resolved soon. I've gone EXTREMELY far in troubleshooting and couldn't find a thing. Even as far as a brand new computer. Just sit tight....

Shut off AVG from the taks manager. Play game. Finish game. Turn on AVG.

504 is a corrupt application code. It's not a 146; Failed to Connect code. Those are when you have applications preventing it from starting like Anti Viruses, Firewalls, etc... In most cases, the 504 Error is caused by a driver improperly installed, corrupted driver or a driver not installed that is needed for the proper run of Xtrap.

I had the SAME error! It's your anti-virus! COMPLETELY turn off your anti-virus!

If it is due to some virus activities try scanning with some free and effective softwares like Malwarebytes and trials of the reputed antivirus softwares. Scan and go you will be fine. Good Luck
