Disconnected from server

Okay, this problem has been going on for a long time. Before, it only happened on a particular server and only occasionally. Now I'm getting disconnected around 20 times per hour and its damn annoying!
I can't earn any clan points b/c of this either. I've tried all the methods i've seen in the forums (re-installing, ccleaner, ip re-routing, etc. ) step by step and nothing has worked. I don't believe the problem is in my computer because i can run other programs and games fine. I want a patch to fix this!!!

yes i know other topics have been made about this. I figured the more topics there are and enough people are complaining, the more likely z8 is to notice and fix the problem.

At this point, the game is utterly unplayable with the disconnecting and hacking going on!!

I doubt it, just cause you bother your parents about getting you a puppy doesn't mean they will, it just means they'll learn to ignore it.

I do not what z8games' ulterior motive is, or what they are planning to do with this error.

I'm trying ti figure this out myself i just had everything updated and i still get errors and dced from server

lot of people,very LOT OF PEOPLE (about 40000 ) dont play crossfire anymore cause it give a lot of problems one of this is "disconnect from server" the z8games dont want understand that CROSSFIRE will fail if they continue to dont fix this problems

ther are a lot of buggs, and they kepp coming.
-Host error (fail to join room)
-Disconnection from server (random disconnection without a dc)
-loading game results error (if u open a profile right at the time the host pressed start, BAD bug because evrything u playd for in that game don't save)
-Settings (evrytime change settings, who has a qwerty keyboard these times ???)

Yo...just change ur account, and continue with playing....yeah, i known....NO CPs, but who care....we all play it just for fun
PS I made this (new) acc just 'cuz this disconnections....and dont forget:
-Make LOVE, not WAR!

okay I followed (for the second time) something i found here.

1.REstart computer
2.uninstall crossfire (from control panel:add/remove programs)
3.go to my computer: programs, and delete the z8 games>crossfire file; and delete from recycle bin when it gets there.
4. restart
5. use ccleaner: use the analyze feature; then run the cleaner itself, deleting extra crap in your pc
6. restart again for good measure
7. if you have an antivirus installed (norton, mcafee, etc) go to task bar, which is the bottom right of your computer where the small icons are, and right click on the antivirus icon. press "disable auto-protect" for 5 hours.
**this step is key** and might make the difference in cf running properly**
8. run cf to test if it works.

My disconnecting has stopped after this, especially after disabling anti virus while i'm playing. hopefully it stays fixed.

Lol, my disconnections stopped...one of solutions are: When disconnections starts, and you are still ***** for ownage, just play with your another account(log in with another login name)...you can continue playing with noobish arms, items, probably some stupid name...after short time log again with your main acc(try at least)....have fun
