Too much CF = Carpal Tunnel?
I only play about 2-3 hours a night, except for on weekends.
I'll usually only do my mission real quick then I'll get off.
A few days ago, I was sniping a lot and doing the QQ thing.
Then my hand started hurting.
So I put some ice and it didn't work, so I took a break for the rest of the day.
Morning, I woke up, barely any sore. Few hours after I got home I hop on to do my mission.
As soon as I start sniping on Egypt, my hand becomes super sore. So I do my mission and get right off.
I text a lot, IM a lot, and also I work as a cashier at a grocery store.
I'm just wondering if I'm the only ones who's hand gets sore while playing CF?
TL;DR: Does playing CF hurt your hands sometimes?

I don't have carpal tunnel. This is mainly because I play piano on a daily basis, and my hands are actually pretty rough and are used to hours of work.
Doing a lot of grappling and forearm workouts help with this too. My hands can now work on CF nearly all day (sleep, eating, drinking and working out are my exceptions. I'd include work, but the california economy sucks and are letting the illegals take all the jobs) without feeling sore. But when it does get sore that's my que to get of the comp for a bit and massage/ice down my hand. This however rarely happens. -
Sometimes, I make it seem like I'm making a fire.ImUndefined wrote: »You don't have to even move your hand much if you do it right.SideEff3cts wrote: »Switch hands.
Thank you. Maybe I'll try it with my feet, if I can reach. Do you know of any machines that could possibly help me? -

yeah, i know what you mean, us super-humans have it easy, for example when i slap my blonde German super-model/pron star's ass while having wild sex with her on my authentic tiger skin padded queen size bed in my Hugh Hefner style mansion i feel no pain. my hands are rough and are used to hours of work. I don't have carpal tunnel. just like a few billion other people out there.
****ing nerd. -
yes, i am confronting myself from time to time to a pain in my right hand (the hand i use the mouse). sometimes this pain is so acute that i cannot turn a key to unlock the door house...
these days i feel well... maybe my hand "get into it"
i play crossfire since february 2009, not in all days, but i play enough - 1-2 hours, when i play.
i don't know if to blame games (NOT necesarily crossfire) for my pain, or to blame myself, for playing games.. -

True, but mostly it is caused by doing some work difficult for hands, grabbing the mouse included..
But noone can tell you better than doctor, tool is right.. -

best decision, i guess. i suffered from somthing similar back in the days when i started to play the drums along with tennis. was too much for my wrists. good that my knees are f*cked up now so i can play drums more often. -
Playing Starcraft helps too
the amount of macro/microing i have to do is just strenous on my hands
